I think we may be talking at cross purposes. Nothing to see here in terms of the legitimacy of the options - all standard stuff and usually a sensible motivational tool. My issue is with judgement on timing and the assertion that directors are taking risk, which they’re not.

In contrast, a director buying shares with their own cash now, takes risk alongside the rest of us. Absolutely no problem with options as a concept and supportive of rewarding success, but IMO a very poorly judged move at this time.

Over the vesting period of the options, there’s complete choice to buy or not buy at 6.6p with the benefit of knowing the SP. Where’s the risk?

They don’t have ‘skin in the game’ unless they’ve purchased ordinary shares. This gives them the option to buy ‘skin in the game’ over the next three years at 6.6p - it’s risk free. Not great timing IMO.

Neurosis: a mental condition that is not caused by organic disease, involving symptoms of stress (depression, anxiety, obsessive behaviour, hypochondria) but not a radical loss of touch with reality.

It’s not the SP that’s lost and all over the place. It’s you.

Give Kew a break! He’s called it wrong - so what - who hasn’t got it wrong at some point (or regularly!). I really can’t understand why anyone would appear to revel in someone’s misfortune. It’s crass. Just enjoy your own gains.

On your other point, it’s self-evident that the opinion you shared on the decline of the SP proved to be correct, although I’m not sure whose opinion it was (yours or analysts who direct your team’s posts) or what different opinions you’ve expressed using other pseudonyms.
