Jack and the sharetalk.

Young Jack and his mother are struggling so she tells Jack to sell the family bitcoin at the market. But instead he trades the bitcoin for Greatland Gold shares. On his return from the market his mother is distraught at what he has done, despondent that he has upset his mother Jack throws the Greatland Gold shares into the office bottom drawer. Thankfully the shares rapidly grow and Jack decides to climb the stairs to the office to check on them.To his surprise he finds they are now worth far more than the bitcoin but despite this they are under threat from a giant.

I smell the blood of a company to takeover I can
Be it funded or be it in the red
I’ll short it now to make my bread

Fortunately the giant is outwitted and Greatland Gold end up with what is rightly their share of the goose that lays golden eggs.
Jack and his mother live happily ever after in their farmhouse in the trees knowing that surrounded by the many branches of the Twiggy Forrest they are now safe from the giant.

I suppose one good thing regarding permitting/approvals is that you would think It is in the govt. and authorities interests to expedite anything which will assist the local and national economy.

Maybe a question for tomorrow. My thinking is just because the FS and therefore DTM date is moving out doesn’t necessarily mean first ore date is moving out, providing permitting etc can still be obtained in time.
Shaun’s views on this would be appreciated/helpful.

For starters, besides anything else GGP own 30% of Havieron.
Maybe check out the posts by other very recent posters for a view on where this is going.

Just my take on this, but I think the fact that the mining world in Australia/Tasmania is probably quite a relatively small,close knit community means that inevitably there’s often going to appear to be close connections between business activities. I suppose there’s pros and cons to this.
I may be wrong but I don’t imagine that there were many alternative/competitive interested parties to choose from.

Hi Ace, I’ve always said I wouldn’t dare bet my house on us NOT finding another one.
I remain cautiously optimistic.

The times have changed indeed, not long back we’d be jumping up and down in anticipation about any glimmer of hope from drilling of our 100% owned neighbour to Havieron. Now just because some Scallywag cried wolf last time means nobody dare believe that there really might be another beast sneaking up on us.

Sorry, maybe one for the posters in the electrical industry out there.

I know Gervaise Heddle seems to have fallen out of favour with some, especially when I sometimes read things implying he left the company vulnerable, but I think articles like this highlight what he also managed to achieve in the face of overwhelming odds.
We have come a long way under Shaun Day’s guidance, no doubt about it but Greatland wasn’t exactly overflowing with cash when GH took over either, never mind a relatively tiny market cap. and maybe he just had a different end game in mind.Fair enough not everyone will agree but I think he put up a good fight as well.
