It’s been easy to get tunnel vision recently or one could say “short” sighted.
Just had to revisit the 30th June 2022 Exploration update to refocus.

“Greatland commences 2022 Exploration Programme at 100% owned Paterson projects 
Drill programme to focus on new conductor targets identified at Scallywag licence including Pearl, Swan and Swan East
Maiden exploration activities to commence at Rudall and Pascalle licences”
Now they’ve seen the elephant it will surely help targeting with the Havieron type prospects.
Then there’s the Juri JV ongoing and Ernest Giles soon.
Who knows about Tasmania but it’s got to be worth something to someone and every little helps.
All as well as little old Havieron which I think might be doing ok.
As it’s starting to cool down tomorrow I think it’s time to not sweat the small stuff.

Being partial to a chocolate bar or three I thought I’d take a look, I’m sad to say having seen the entries so far I’d not even be in the running for third place at this moment in time so no point me even trying. Very good reading though.

Dear Santa,
I know it’s early but at least this might help you to plan ahead. This year I don’t want anything for Christmas as I’m quite confident Greatland Gold and Newcrest are bringing me news of funding, a feasibility study and plenty of other stocking fillers and not being greedy that is more than enough for one year.

And if they have a great trading day we wake up to a nice paper profit and all we had to do to get it was sleep.

Just been thinking about the significance of the Five Diggers/Pacific Trends renegotiation. Considering the strong negotiating position Five Diggers must have been in and the apparent massive confidence they have shown in GGP and Havieron by accepting the lock in and orderly market restrictions, they must have done extensive due diligence and needed to have been in no doubt whatsoever regarding GGPs future funding abilities before accepting such terms. They certainly will have been in a much better position than most to not only ask but get answers to some difficult questions.

Just for fun, what I’d like Shaun’s opening gambit to be tomorrow.

Yesterday Fraser MacCorquodale said that the Newcrest was looking for more gold opportunities in Australia and was using the conference to hunt for potential partners...
Well we think we have plenty of gold opportunities in Australia so it looks like we have something in common and we’re also using the conference to hunt for potential partners so you all form an orderly queue now after I finish talking…. and Fraser just watch out or you might end up at the back, that’s what happens when you’re a bit backward at coming forward.

I can only imagine Newcrest will now be back “aligned” regarding the greatness of Havieron. Would come across a bit unprofessional,never mind embarrassing if there’s a big disparity between Fraser and Shaun’s message.

Don’t forget Newcrest walked away from Havieron in the past stating something also along the lines of we’ll put it on the back burner, I’m paraphrasing.
Maybe history repeating itself isn’t always bad.

I would say a reason why GGP should cream off, so to speak, 25% of the income is the same reason NCM can if they so wish purchase 5% for $60M. Because they can.
