Considering the structure of the J.V. I would have thought NCM have a very big say on if the nickel is in “commercial quantities”.

Assuming NCM take up the 5% option, as far as I am aware this is GGP’s first income ….. and ….. it’s £50M
What was our market cap. a few years ago?

Having been a “wiring man” myself, I have to say that I have been surprised on many occasions by the lack of financial knowledge of many senior directors of some rather large companies. I openly admit my experience of the stock market is very basic and I am certainly no HNWI and even I know more than some of the said individuals. I think with a lot of these people it is their drive that makes them succeed, rather than financial awareness and maybe also their willingness to seek knowledge wherever it may come from, even if it is from a “wiring man”.

I’d never heard of kriging until it was mentioned on here by those who know about these things. When I see the word written, my mind thinks Kipling and then I think of “If”.

I’m not sure if it’s always been the case, but I’ve noticed, recently anyway, that Newcrest now use the term “fair value” as opposed to “fair market value”.
I’m no lawyer but I do know that legally there is a difference. Whilst it may not seem significant the difference could be £millions.
I don’t know if this favours us (GGP) or Newcrest.

On the 4 March 2022 NCM issued a market release stating
“Newcrest Mining Limited (Newcrest) (ASX, TSX, PNGX: NCM) notes the release by Greatland Gold plc (Greatland Gold) of an updated Mineral Resource and Ore Reserve Statement for the Havieron project.”
Whilst at the time they stated they had not reviewed or verified GGP’s update they have had plenty of time now to update their own shareholders if they believed it was in anyway misleading, especially as they themselves highlighted it to their own shareholders in a market release.

Wonder if we’ll get official confirmation of acceleration of decline progress a week on Thursday. Will lift the spirits if we do.

When the Havieron J.V. was negotiated what was our market cap. and how much working capital etc. did we have? Did we have access to Telfer’s facilities then and all that brings? Seems these days it might be an unpopular opinion but personally I was and still am very happy with the deal,warts and all.
The opportunity thanks to the deal is immense.

“NCM will be fully aware of all the various options that are on the table for GGP and they won't want any other asset dilution any more than we will - they might decide to finance it for us in exchange for the 5%.”

Now wouldn’t that be a nice simple face saving solution for everyone. I’m a simple man I like simple.
