When are you going to break out of your backward thinking in regard to your investment in BP.?
Your repetitive diatribe on past dividend levels indicates that you do not understand BP as an investment going forward and one in transition.

A question, if I may. Why do you think the board of directors are wrong in not increasing dividends to previous levels, beyond what had been set out, and Harmonica, with your previous questionable opinions, is better qualified to know what's best ?

Genuine question. Do you actually understand the company you are invested in and their business strategy?

Do you support this strategy?

If no, why are you still invested and posting?

Putin is a master tactician. He has used his aggressive build up to force the US to the negotiating table.

He is asking for the impossible but he will gain some concessions from the US and then stand down and withdraw his troops. Something gained for nothing given. Pure Putin. He will frame the concessions as a triumph of Russian power when in truth he is the undemocratic leader of a corrupt, bankrupt peasant country. Russia needs the West more than the West needs Russia.

War in the Ukraine will further bankrupt and destroy Russia and in turn Putin.

Putin may be many things but he is not a fool.

Thanks for the link. Do I recall you selling out BP a while back with concerns over a number of issues including a possible Ukraine conflict ? If I do recall correctly, BP share price has rallied since you sold out and while everyone hopes that conflict will not happen, I hope your post does not come with any hope for conflict to justify your concerns in selling and losing out in the recent share price gains.

Putin is just playing a political game. He has little to gain and much to lose in any Invasion. I continue to add to my BP holding as it is still a great opportunity at this price.

BARCLAYS RAISES BP PRICE TARGET TO 700 (500) PENCE - 'OVERWEIGHT'

Buybacks recommenced yesterday with 5.5m repurchased. This should be repeated for around the next 20 or so business days until 7th February.

Last years repurchase of £500m shares for the employee share scheme occurred in Q2. Bringing this forward for this year indicates that BP are not only awash with cash but they recognise the current undervalueness ( is that a word ? ) of share price. More buybacks for their bucks at this price.

I have been monitoring and researching THG since September '21 and decided today to invest £30k at 194. A further share price dip is always possible but, on the balance of risk to reward, I see this being an ideal entry price.

Thanks for your post. ADR conversation value is currently £3.49. Nothing really to worry about here.
Early days, but my 'guess' is that we may be witnessing the commencement of the biggest rotation from growth to value stocks for decades. Not so much a market crash or correction, more a market realignment to value.

All indicators point to this so more than happy to be heavily invested in BP at this moment in time.

If at all possible, please elaborate and explain the reason behind your post. Everyone is free to post their opinion, of course, but should I attempt to try and understand the reason why you would bother posting or just ignore it.?
