Any companies that are using Fischer-Tropsch are using Velocys technology and are therefore paying for doing so.
As for using ethanol in the mix with aviation fuel, that's massively problematic at anything other than a tiny percentage, and would imply modifying the aero engines (which is not the case for the synthetic kerosene produced by Velocys technology.)

12 Pounds, JonesRichard, now that would be NICE! In fact, my holding would be worth 3 million Pounds and some change at that point!! Realistically, I reckon we are looking at 7 or 8 years before the price runs into Pounds - and alas probably much less than 12. But you never know, of course.

I have a feeling it might settle a bit tomorrow - then the bulls may rampage again next week.But you never know - maybe there'll be some more funky Elvis hip-action tomorrow? (It shouldn't bother us either way - anybody other than a muppet will be playing a long game on this one, IMO.)

I'm sat here looking at profits of over 17K - more than double yesterday. This is rare stuff. But I'm in this for the long haul flight (pun intended!)

After getting a tip from a professional investor a couple of months back, I bought about quarter of a million shares in Velocys at just under 5p per share. Been in profit for a while, but yesterday was epic, wasn't it? :-) But I see this as a long term hold. By the end of this decade we could be talking about pounds per share rather than pence, IMO. So this could be that once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that all investors get, but most manage to screw up. As for me, I'm determined to hold all the way to Saturn!
