How many are you looking to buy at 10p, Convb?

Seems to me like 11p, or there about, may be the defensive wall :-D But maybe not much room above there until we have new positive info released...

But I could be misremembering. It could start at 2% mix...

I did a fair amount of research on this before buying, but that was many weeks ago. I'm sure I read that it will be a 5% mix from 2026 with an increase over time up to...what was it?...25%...?

As I understand it there are laws coming in UK/US/EU which will require a year-on-year increase to the percentage SAF in the mix? (Is it up to a maximum of 25%? or 30% I'll have to check.)

Yes, I could truly weep for the 1000s of people out there who piled in late looking for a quick grand, then panicked and sold at a loss. This is how the über-rich (professional investors, etc) squeeze money from ordinary guys - by ruthlessly exploiting their lack of understanding and emotional discipline.

I see the US government will be spending $2.5 billion on EV-school buses.
Bluebird (in particular) and Lion Electric could do very well from this?

Manc, this has always been a long term investment for me. However, VLS technology will be up-and-live by the middle of the decade - with rapid expansion over the next 10 years thereafter. This isn't get-rich-quick. It's get-rich-slow!
(I think it's unlikely - given the stage we are at and the political climate - that it is going back to 5p though.)

Yeah, people (including some media figures) who talk blithely about "electric powered aircraft" don't have any idea about the physics involved. A large long-haul aircraft would need to be heavier (massively heavier!) than current aircraft in order to carry enough charge. Even assuming battery technology improves quickly and steadily year-by-year this is decades away. And even then it's problematic, because the aircraft would be much slower than jets. Hydrogen? Well, it couldn't possibly meet the current health and safety requirements, and hydrogen engines are at square-one research and development stage. It may ultimately be possible, but it is - again - decades down the line. Up to 2050 (at least) SAF is going to be the only viable option.

Totally agree this is one to hold - perhaps for 5-15years.

In my case I have just over 256,000 shares - mostly bought a while back for cost average around 5p. I'm in with pretty much 100% of my risk capital, but for reasons of discipline I'm hesitant to go in much deeper than that - perhaps 50,000 additional shares at most. I certainly don't do 'all-in' or 'yolo', etc. (Anyway, 250,000 shares is already enough to deliver some very nice returns down the line, I think :-P)

There may be a lot of serious players who were waiting for it to pull back 30% from its peak before buying? This entry point would be right around 11p - pretty much where we are. So tomorrow will indeed be interesting. If there is a sustained rise we might then get armies of penny collectors piling back in, pumping it up to a spike again - followed no doubt by another mini collapse. Of course, if there were another significant piece of news, that would only add jet fuel (so to speak!) to the whole situation.
Remains a long game, IMO.

Does anyone here live in Oxford? Maybe they should take a job as a cleaner at Velocys HQ and see whether they can spot any juicy info left lying around the office - kind of like Charlie Sheen's character in 'Wall Street'! :-D
Of course it would be 100% illegal to act upon information obtained thereby. (But then again, who would know? :-P)
