We need 75% over votes to win. If Canmax vote against, (13.3%), we need in excess of all but 11.7% of the remaining 86.7% of available votes to win. We need 75% over votes cast, 3 X 13.1% - around 50%, won't do it. Not everyone non Canmax will vote, but Canmax will for sure, meaning we need everyone to vote for. If just 12% of the non Canmwax vote against, we're screwed.

So you're saying that Stark did not assess the raw material when designing the plant, even though it was tested and feasibility tests and chemical analysis results from independent sources were carried out and published?

I find that de-ramping nonsense a bit hard to believe, especially when Canmax bought 13% of the company and loaned it $34M, to get to this stage. Are you seriously saying that they didn't carry out their own due dilligence?

Eh? So even though it's been tested by several parties as good grade, including the Chinese at Canmax and it's been shown to be capable on being turned into SC6 in the only just commissioned, onsite lab, you seem to be deciding that the raw material is sub standard, based on what exactly?

I see it more that Stark and the OEM mill manufacturer made mistakes, which Stark are rectifying and learning from to boost their reputation for lithium mining.

I got the impression that the RHA mill would be commissioned imminently and production at 50% to the required grade should only be a couple of weeks off at most now. We've seen the UV sorters in action already and seen the video piles of material of differing colours due to Spodumene concentrate, showing that they're working as they should.

Considering it was a patch of earth this time last year, the progress so far has been pretty amazing IMO. The bulk of the delays seem to be that Stark, as committed as they are, seem to be learning lithium mining on the fly and mistakes were made and are being corrected. What we end up with though, is seemingly going to be capable of more throughput than the original design. I believe 125% label value was mentioned.

Maybe Jaglith, it's because the plant should be near to producing SC6 now and the material has been proved to be capable?

IG are slow to react with Sell prices, and have been pretty much 0.51 all day, briefly dipping to .49p

It shoots up 5% and we all think news has leaked, then it drops 5%. The important part is that in the last 5 days, it's been climbing steadily to put it up almost 30% in 5 days, about the gain my RR shares are doing atm.

If that's the case, then top work Nord. Picking the peak of rises and drops, is not something I've ever got the knack of yet, although I have had a couple of lucky ones, which were then wiped out by poor ones.

The info I have is from here, Google and IG. maybe I need something a bit more real time? My gripe with IG is that the gap between Buy and Sell is often slow to react or a lot wider than others seem to be trading at. To be fair though, on Quote, the price does seem to always come back better than they state.

Does anyone know the basics of how these UV sorters work?

Does it identify the waste and ping it out of the way with lasers, or water jets or something?

How about the hydrosizers? Any basic ideas on how these work?

I get how the floatation circuit works on PH levels. one to seperate mica and another level to float Spod, but would be nice to understand the other, new tech, parts of the plant.

That's not what it said though is it, that's you twisting it to put a negative agenda on it. What was actually said is that they're still optimising it to get the results.

What seems to have been holding this procedure back was that they had no full on site testing, only partial. This was resolved last week, so STARK can now test and adjust a lot faster.

As the RHA mill was also en route last week, surely we should expect this to be in place soon. At which point we're cooking on gas with regards to testing ,optimising and adjusting until the right SC6 grade is produced, which they can now confirm is possible from the plant material. Whether this means material going into or exiting the plant is anyone's guess at this stage.

Fair enough, Laverda. Tomra's approach sounds superior, but I should imagine a lot more expensive.

I do get the impression that Stark's reputation is riding on this one and they're doing a lot of learning along the way. I do appreciate the effort they're putting into it with all hands on deck though and I do think that now they have extensive on site testing available, that they'll get there and soon.

You're ASSuming "to date" is as of today. It wasn't. It was before the UV sorter was fully calibrated and ALSO before full testing could be carried out on site, which it can now. Between when the offsite testing was carried out and now, have a guess at the length of time which has passed?

Eh? That's no longer the case. I thought they now have a full test centre on site, now with all the test equipment they need. It was being commissioned last week with extra equipment to do full on site testing of samples.

Where do you get these special buy prices from? When and where do you claim to have bought at 0.47p today?

You ASSume that, only because you've not been told otherwise.

I suspect GR will wait for the RHA mill to be installed and commissioned before releasing an RNS on what quality and quantity the current setup is now capable of. This plant remember, has first of it's kind technology to sort the ore, which once calibrated properly, should help produce 125% and over label design parameters.

The raw material has been confirmed capable, so with the tech installed, once working, I have no doubt it will produce SC6. With the money Canmax have invested, they will have made sure this is a definitive possibility too.

I presume the timescale to get the original mill replaced/upgraded wasn't as long back then. It's still, what, 12 weeks away now, meaning borrowing the RHA mill is a sensible interim plan B.

At the end of the day, GR needs to get SC6 being produced even at 50% before the plant can either pay off Canmax or find a new output partner. Even at 50%, with demand so high, one of these will be a serious and imminent possibility, even before the OG mill is upgraded/replaced with the new one.
