"marcus a first shipment wouldnt be good news it would be feckin brilliant news !!!!! as i said it will be a long few weeks unless there is a good update
first potential good news will be the second hand mill has arrived that will stoke enthusiasm ... sp up
second its fitted ... sp up
third its working .... sp up up up
fourth the lorry is leaving .... boom
but its prem so what could possibly go wrong :("
sure, i get that. this is why i think the new deal is good for prem, as it only requires 1000t a month and first shipment is not needed until almost december. if gr can't get the plant doing that by then, even by prem standards of late, then we might as well throw the towel in,.
it's hugely achievable and has plenty of leeway to cover unexpected **** ups.
for one, there must be well over 1000t of partly processed material which they've been using to setup the uv sorters and hydro sizers. i remember stark showing a video of different piles of material, some pre uv sorting and some after it, showing how much whiter the purer processed piles were. if i was gr, i'd be keeping a couple of thousand tons to one side to cover the 1000t pcm just in case. even then, the "penalty" of $1.5m a month if targets are not met, is not a fine as such, but just comes off the loan from canmax as a direct repayment, instead of the pre-paid take off.
much to the usual frothing at the mouth from those trying to lower the sp to get back in, i actually thought gr did a pretty good job of the negotiations with canmax to get us this very achievable and profitable deal.
