I don't understand why some people are so negative.... I guess that they were looking for a quick profit and it didn't materialise.

SAE are generating electricity (and revenue) and they have plans for the future development which are interesting. Given the need for reliable green energy, this has to be a good long term hold.

Surely there is room in the market for more than one player!

But we do have a stake in a company that does make turbines ( 21% shareholding in Proteus Marine Marine Renewables)

I am glad I bought back in a couple of weeks ago.

Double my holding last week at .37 per share
Sold (what I bought last week) today at .40p a share
Average now at 1.45 instead of 3.5
Once they get another bank on board and they should seeing that the have assets (was it 10 million) hopefully the share price will be equal or more than my average

So what happened since the RNS of 11th April?

So I guess you are not buying.
I just spent £100 buying 3.85 million shares.
Let's see....

The Scots have a long and very successful history in innovation.
This company has been around a while.
If the directors wanted to take the money and run they would have done so when the SP was around 20 (the last big bounce).
Seems like they are in for the long haul.

Still a long way to go reach the previous high of 3p.....

Looks like I am going to lose the £200 punt I took on this! :-((
Along with the original £1000 I invested years back!

Why are my buys showing as sells in the share trades list? Is that because they have been sold to me?
Seems counter intuitive to list them as sells....

This morning I also added 5 million for £200 which more than tripled my share holding here.

I am certainly not celebrating since I am 70 % down on this one and other hydrogen companies
Tidal is not doing much better either.
I don't understand why with all the talk of net zero, climate crisis etc these shares should be flying...

Not much of a breathing space and they are going to need a shed load of cash to develop BESS Uskmouth during 2024, new loans, new share issue... In the meantime SAE are still loss making.

But I continue to hold my 450000 shares in the hope that this will become a profitable green energy company.
I first bought in at 40p a share in Dec 2017. Bought and sold some to get my average down to 3.5 and will hold until we get back to 4 or 5 p before selling some to de-risk.

Robotic distribution is a natural progression and IMHO the future. Ocado have invested heavily in technology that will bring massive benefits in coming few years. Now is the time to average down and wait for the rebound.

Maybe time to average down.
