There's no reason why the US can't grant equivalence of the AZ vaccine even if they don't approve for their own use.
Clearly there's a whole world of data to show that it works. Time to open sesame.

There won't be any pushback for building SMRs on current nuclear licensed sites. Take moorside in Cumbria for example, many of the locals either work at Sellafield or for businesses that support the site. Any new job opportunities will be very welcome hence the MP Trudy Harrison is lobbying the Government hard.

Boris needs to prioritise and cough up so the SMR partnership can accelerate the design, development and deployment of new power stations before 2030. Less time spent counting covid cases.

Does anybody actually do really well from trading this stock? I mean i've tried it a few times but generally don't end up better off over all. Add a few shares here.. lose a few shares...must be jinxed.

Remember a few weeks ago when this was diving down to 80p and the sentiment was awful. Then all of a sudden WHOOSH back up to 120p. I'm still upbeat about the trans atlantic link coming soon. The pressure on the US to open sesame must be huge.

The Telegraph online have removed 'coronavirus' section from their main page. Finally.

I'm holding out for the deal which I think is likely to go through. The SP pre-covid was between 600-700p anyway which is not far off the price today. I like Meggitt anyway, they are a good business who've been around a long time and essential for the MOD.

If the deal fails, the price will eventually recover to 700p. IMHO.

RR is defintely a long term hold as the world goes green...

I'm not expecting good things and anything above 90p is a bonus.

IMO the remaining niggle is the beta variant. Delta cases may peak again but the UK Gov seems really twitchy about it.

They should be tweaking the AZ now and rolling out a booster shot. Unless they already know that the current vaccines work well against beta and the recent move to put France on amber plus was more a political stunt?
