Watching Dr John Campbell on youtube is a decent anxiolytic. He puts the DOOM into perspective and it's no where near like the MSM are portraying at the moment.

Also it's quite re-assuring reading the comments on the MSM articles. The vast majority of people are vitriolic/venemous (can't decide which word is better) in their feelings towards further restrictions and murmurs of a plan C.

Next week it'll be confirmed that Omicron is ACTUALLY just an effing cold (that it is very infectious but very mild). The terrorists at the BBC will be upset as their constant doom loop will come to an end.

If you look at the S.Africa charts, the number of deaths has risen in tandem with cases under previous waves. This time the cases are going through the roof but deaths not moving. It's blindingly obvious.

If bumbling Boris goes then the next PM must be pro economy and anti SAGE.

Some of my favourite lines since this nightmare all began.

Seems a bit tame if it doesn't affect your taste and smell? It can't be destroying the cells in your nose and mouth like the other variants.

Once again travel is being tampered with to make the Government appear to be in control. We ALL know it makes zero difference as covid spreads like wild fire. Even scientists and the WHO say don't bother.

If Omicron does indeed have strongly reduced pathogenicity then surely we need to let it spread as quickly as possible to displace the nasty Delta? Might actually save lives??? Isn't this what the UK Gov had planned to do right at the start and aim for herd immunity..

Sad thing is Omicron is unlikely to cause serious illness in the unvaccinated either. Perhaps a very very small subset of the population. Those people would be double vaxxed anyway.

It looks like the transformer virus now has made it to North America. Since it's everywhere, no point shutting the doors now and we might as well re-start the flights to S.Africa.

World Health Organisation calls for borders to remain open

Countries should keep their borders open amid the omicron variant to avoid a "heavy burden on lives and livelihoods", the World Health Organisation (WHO) has said.

Only people who should be wearing masks are those with multiple comorbidities or in their 80s. Also the masks should be medical grade like N95/FFP rather than the useless 50 for a £1 jobbies.

Being forced to learn about spike proteins because of the i-n-s-a-n-i-t-y behaviour of governments.
It is clear now that the vaccines don't stop infections so they might as well just give them to those that need it and let everyone else catch it as quickly as possible. Sorry not sorry.

If it turns out, as I think it will, that the current vaccines work fine with the new variant then this share will do a monsterous turnaround.
