Bosch will be demonstrating cutting edge technology at CES, that I believe comes from Seeing Machines.

Here’s what Bosch has to say about the technology it will be demonstrating: "Interior monitoring – safety, comfort, and convenience for all occupants (AI inside): Based on eyelid movements, direction of gaze, and sitting position, this Bosch vehicle interior monitoring system detects when the driver is drowsy or looks at a smartphone – and alerts the driver to critical situations. It also monitors the vehicle interior to determine how many occupants are present and where they are seated. This makes it possible to optimize the operation of safety systems such as the airbags in an emergency. What’s more, the system increases occupants’ comfort and convenience. For instance, it automatically activates stored personal settings such as seat position. In the future, when vehicles are in partially automated driving mode for sections of the journey such as on the freeway, the driver monitoring system will become an indispensable partner: the camera will ensure that the driver can safely take the wheel again at any time."

I seem to remember at the CMD that Tim acknowledged that its tech can spot if a driver is incapacitated due to drink/drugs. There may well be other IIs/wealth managers trading below 3%. Still, people have to make their own decisions.

Still, for those who want more on the cheap it's an opportunity, provided they've got a bit of patience and don't mind putting up with management running the company in their own interests, for whom PIs are an afterthought.

I think a lot of PIs who've over invested in this are reducing. The thinking is this won't move for at least a month now. Plenty of other stocks that might over a quick profit within a month. Who knows, maybe a few IIs are thinking the same.

I must admit, when I first heard that name I thought someone was joking about a 1970s porn star. Still, despite the odd name she does know about car tech and safety. Welcome to slow share price appreciation...When it comes to publicising Aussie-focused news that won't impact the share price See are world class. Ask them to update on Fleet or anything remotely material that is possible and you'll get a barrage of excuses. The biggest fans of this management are those on the payroll.

A lot of institutional investors won't invest in a sub £200m market cap stock. Irony is that once we do get those contracts landing and the price rises just a few pence, this will be that much more likely to attract a mountain of cash that is sitting on the sidelines. In short, this should rocket unless SEE deliberately try to avoid its doing so by having Cenkos deliberately lowball estimates as is the case currently -- in which case the rise could be more muted.

My slight concern is that possibly management are working to their own timetable and so not keen for the price to rise too fast, too soon. Given the rumoured discussions that went on with Bosch in 2018 for a sale around 13-17p mark it seems logical that they are talking with prospective buyers on a regular basis. Could it be SEE plan to sell out later this year for what we would consider a low bid, say 30p? A rise to 30p by Jan would ruin any such plans. It is just an idea but I put it on here for discussion.

It was supposed to be calendar year 2019 originally. At the CMD we were told weeks ands months away not months and years, then was told probably before Xmas or very early Jan. However, I've been told many things before that have taken a long time to materialise. Over to Paul McImminent as some wag on this board has named him.

I really do admire the efforts of posters here. If only SEE PR was half as good as SmartEye's we'd be in double figures already.

Lack of positive news flow is really holding the share price back. If they spent as much effort into putting news out as they do doling out excuses to fed up private investors we wouldn't be where we are.

I agree, someone doesn't want us to know how many fleet units are being installed and I think you are also right about the R&D spend. I wouldn't put it past SEE to neutralise you in a very subtle way. They certainly did their best to neutralise those asking awkward questions in public at the CMD. I assume PM wants to upgrade fleet at the interims, or slightly before. Similarly, other analysts have SEE winning much more than 30% of auto market.

What worries me is: 1) It is slightly dishonest not to announce good news when it occurs, while announcing bad news immediately. 2) At such a low share price we are a sitting duck for an opportunist bid that (even it it is multiples of where we are now - say 20p-30p) will grossly undervalue the company given the contracts it is due to win very soon. I've not held this for 5 years for SEE to go for 30p, then be worth 300p a year later.

Maybe PM really doesn't realise that investors in SEE have been through the mill on this one and aren't prepared to put up quietly with any more BS after what they experienced under the previous management.

If he does deliver soon I'll be the first to buy the geezer a beer. Pat will get a bottle of Midleton's Irish whiskey if he pulls off those Aviation licensing deals by the New Year!

I appreciate you're trying to be positive. Trouble is, when you tell people about the company and its prospects then SEE themselves deliberately downplay their success you end up looking a total pratt. Good post from ET btw.

It's annoying, especially considering the people who are supposed to be promoting SEE, and are getting paid shedloads to do so, are screwing it up. Time for PM and others in our so-called marketing dept to put out an RNS or two (and not about some sheep shagger in the outback buying 5 units). Why not start with a Fleet update on installation numbers before Xmas? Antennae should also start to earn their fees and generate some positive PR in a respected mainstream outlet, not pig truckers monthly or Proactive (who the hell ever heard of them?) outside crusty PIs?

PM is certainly gifted in one respect. He has managed to annoy both us private investors and a fair share of the institutional holders in the space of a few months in the job. (31% voted v. his termination benefits but plenty more would have disliked it but been unwilling to send a public message). Hitherto he seems more focused on sorting out a great termination package than delivering shareholder value. What message does it send to the SEE staff? (Me Alpha Neatherthal, you do what I say or get hit with club).

I do hope what has hitherto been a Greek tragedy doesn't degenerate into the Flintstones.

Seeing Machines head office must have got peed off with us for highlighting their lowballing of fleet numbers. We need to be proactive in badgering the management to stay honest. It is disappointing that they are not updating us re. fleet, just treating us like mushrooms. Seeing2020 has made it clear the Cenkos forecasts are well out of date. If you let them get away with it they'll keep on taking liberties.

For example:

1) What is going on with Back-up Driver Monitoring?
2) What is happening with Mix Telematics?
3) What happened to the imminent deal with Canadian Pacific Railway?
4) What the hell did Rudy Burger ever do for us?
5) What happened to the new era of transparency?
6) Have SEE every apologised for the monumental screw ups of last year? Jack Boyer in and out doing nowt, Ken trying to flog company and no announcements. [Trust has to be earned, right?] Then 3p raise?!
I am sure those here who actually do some research instead of coming here to only moan can add to the list.
7) Soft share price targets for PM when he knows what's coming soon looks very dodgy. [Admittedly, he's doing all he can to keep the share price low to make it look tough]

At the CMD Paul McGlone thought he could get away with very little questioning, avoiding scrutiny. It's time to put him straight.
