I think some auto OEM laggards selling into Europe/UK are delaying new model launches until they've got camera-based DMS/OMS sorted as they absolutely cannot just ignore the GSR2 legislation from July 2026. Also, any new models launched in Europe/UK without camera-based DMS from January 2026 will lose Euro NCAP stars. We might therefore see some budget models launch before between Jan 26 and July 26 and take a hit on Euro NCAP points.

Although PM said the RFQs are for 2027 onwards it still barely leaves OEMs sufficient time. I think a fair amount of extensions will also be waved through by existing clients - but they are surely supposed to be put out as contract wins via an RNS.

As I understand it SEE are going for new trucks from OEMs and existing ones in fleets. They really want those recurring fees for monitoring services, so while not the whole market their potential target market is big enough. Moreover, although production volumes aren't huge, as the margins on Gen 3 are so good they are prioritising enterprise customers, I think. I can't see any way SEE doesn't hit breakeven given its tech is the best, with the lowest rate of false alarms. All the OEMs (across cars and trucks) are going to have to install this technology asap now. Some big wins are surely coming given the July 2026 deadlines and Euro NCAP 2026 for cars.

VW is going to put the DMS/OMS tech in all its new cars from July 2026. That's part of the reason SEE is a screaming buy at this price.

Some more wins with the Magna mirror are well overdue. Some of those tardy OEMs who've so far failed to get their act together re. DMS/OMS must surely be close to putting it in. I still cannot believe Euro NCAP hasn't yet tested the Volkswagen Tayron.

Still confident Gen3 is going to win the Amazon trial, as Netradyne is pants according to all my research and hated by drivers.

SEYE's latest niche auto win means nothing. The car company is so small it bought the AIS kit. Imagine a BMW or VW with Guardian instead of an integrated interior monitoring DMS/OMS. SEYE is number 2 and that's the best that it can be. If you had any sense you'd sell SEYE and buy SEE.

It's ANZAC day tomorrow but if FH is out news next week won't be wasted. PM, it's time to unleash the dogs of war on Cipia, Tobii and Smart Eye.

Mitsu is a helluva of a card to have in your hand. That along with cash should see us trump the opposition. Cipia has virtually folded, SEYE and Tobii are both anxiously waiting for SEE to raise. Given Guardian Gen 3 is the best out there I'm confident we'll do very well with trials. Shell are already using us in multiple countries and we're massively undervalued. Opportunities like this don't come along often. DYOR of course.

I'm massively underwater too. We've seen it all before with Covid. In retrospect that was a time to load up. I believe this offers a similar opportunity with less risk for those with spare cash. Otherwise hold seems a sensible course of action now. Guardian Gen 3 is a market leading product. Of course, DYOR.

I would like us to be in a non-integrated, dash-cam type DMS for older cars/lorries but it's not my decision. Perhaps there is a risk of litigation if it's not fitted expertly? It would also be relatively low margin, I assume.

Based on the points 1-4, Seeing Machines should be well into double figures by the time of any bid. Indeed, as soon as Federated are out (or cease selling) this will bounce. If I was you I'd be buying back in. Your chum Brockwl will beat you to it if you don't get a move on.
