If you've ever actually spoken to fund managers, or even analysed the buys and sell of fund managers, you'd know that they often get it wrong. We don't know why Hermes reduced its holding, it could be rebalancing its portfolio or need the funds for another reason. At the end of the day though, a PI has to make a decision based on their own analysis and time frames.

Since then they've sold some and SEE has diluted a fair bit.

It seems PM is deadly serious about reaching breakeven, despite Aftermarket issues and auto industry headwinds. That event, coupled with further contracts wins, will probably be received very positively by fund managers. I feel for the staff who are losing their jobs though. Possibly, a potential buyer has also made it clear they want all the IP, without the staff costs.

Trump would want a US company to own Seeing Machines...that's fine with me provided they pony up a few billion dollars. Elon Musk might try and buy it on the cheap for $4-5 billion is my concern.

Totally agree, Veoneer announcement re. VW doesn’t seem a negative, given we’re their preferred DMS supplier. Apparently, the Veoneer 2 camera DMS/OMS system though not as cheap or quick to incorporate as the rearview mirror is top class. I defer to more knowledgeable investors on the tech side but that's my understanding. Probably a question for the Town Hall demo?

I'm no trading expert, so bear that in mind. Still, given there are 5 billions shares, the daily volumes traded are tiny. Many PIs are losing heart and patience with this for understandable reasons. MMs know about the issues re. Gen 3 delays + auto industry woes and are happily triggering stop losses. If it were IIs the volumes would be bigger, is my view.

Still, how much worse can it get? 1.7p was the Covid low. Therefore, I assume that is the lowest it will go before we get a bounce from the Town Hall. This isn't going bust so it time to gird those loins and hunt for pennies down the bank of the sofa. DYOR of course.

Apple doesn't have a formal CTO, but that tends to the exception rather than the rule.

The institutional shareholders must be keen that everything is above board so I don't envisage any shenanigans re. vesting rights. It's time to perform is the message they'll undoubtedly have sent to management.

John Noble is clearly a key figure. Good to see that SEE is promoting from within. I think this move makes a sale within the next year much more likely, once it is clear that Aftermarket is progressing at pace.

Richard Schram is Technical Director of Euro NCAP. That independent body is encouraging carmakers to do the decent thing and that means installing camera DMS/OMS. It promises to be an event worth watching, a fillip to the doom and despondency that seems to haunt Britain and this bulletin board of late. Even you Baxter, might be grinning after it.

Given that Volkswagen plans to roll out the Magna Mirror with SEE DMS/OMS to all its cars by July 2026, it is evidently pleased with the result. There was talk of other OEMs doing likewise once Magna had proven it was possible. Therefore, I think it is probable the agreement is extended and Magna will surely have to pay SEE for the privilege of doing so. It's certainly not true that Magna holds all the cards.

Has anyone looked in depth at fleet/aftermarket in the UK/Europe? I'm more interested in that at the moment as I feel auto is ticking along nicely - nothing more SEE can do there, aside wait for contracts via RFQs.

Gen 3 is aiming at various niches in trucking and I'm keen to analysis their requirements. Incorporation into logistics/telematics offerings must be a key requirement in many large fleets, so I'm wondering how Gen 3 integrates with them. Has anyone done any research into this?

Tobii has far fewer cars on the road than SEE. SEE has single camera DMS/OMS in VW cars via the 'Magna' rearview mirror. It can also do dual camera DMS/OMS. Thus, it has all bases covered. SEE is the market leader in passenger cars and is creating markets in lorries/buses and even planes.

It's also clear that Mitsu and others will leverage its tech outside of transport in due course. Humanoid Robotics is where I'd like this tech to go in due course-- I'm sure the smart folks at SEE can outline some interesting developments there on April 2nd.

Paul McGlone needs to fire up the Barbie on April 2nd when he comes to London. We need to hear the sizzle, smell the scent of cooked sausages and be treated to meat, lots of meat. (Not stale sandwiches).

FFS 22m traded (out of 4.7bn), the price drops and out come the people who never contributed any meaningful research stating they've sold. Well, thanks and goodbye.

Still, you should sell if :

1) You think you made a poor choice in buying SEE and that it is not a good investment.

2) The company has changed since you bought, eg, weaker management.

3) There is a better opportunity elsewhere.

However, if you're just spooked by the drop, you might want to wait a little while longer and attend the Town Hall before selling at a loss. Remember: the classic PI mistake is to buy high and sell low.

That is a very contradictory statement, no wonder you sell and buy back.

There is mounting evidence that in the near future they will be profitable. However, if you wait till they are making $100m annual profit you'll need to pay a lot more than 1.5p. Therefore, it seems that in reality you're merely waiting for some positive news after which I expect to hear you've bought back in.

DMS/OMS is fast becoming a standard piece of kit in passenger cars, and increasing in trucks/buses. We're also moving into planes and god knows what else in the near future via partners.

Soon, those who sold sub 4p will be kicking themselves. While those who bought sub 3p will be smiling.

Distraction + fatigue are huge issues and SEE has a solution that is widely applicable.
