In contrary, each failure has increases the likelihood of success, if only the company is led by true professionals. Personally, I believe in the professionalism of Mike and his team and their ability to prove it this year. Not to find oil year after year in 10 years time in the country in which it was already discovered even without of usage the newest search methods can only people of very low qualification or simply crooks imitating the search of oil but in fact parasitising on our investments. So, Matadors 2019 it our year of success and be prepared for it.

And have you at least approximately calculated what a colossal loss was caused to the company and investors during these years and what are all the lost profits. Kurt really has many virtues and I am well aware of this. But, I would never have appointed him in any serious company as its head. I was acquainted with a man, thanks to whose genius almost all the colossal deposits of Siberian oil were discovered in the Soviet Union and who was given one of the highest country's awards - Hero of Labor. But when this legendary oilman met a series of failures in the search for oil just in two years time later he nearly didn't deprived of all regalia and could been imprisoned for financial damages caused to the state companies that were under his management. And only the descovery a new colossal O&G deposits saved him from prosecution.
Therefore, the achievements of people must be judged not by education or work experience, but by what they have specifically achieved. And even what they achieved in the past cannot have the prevailing significance in comparison with what they were could but failed to do and missed such a great opportunities, as Kurt already did.

Agree, Dozzawba. Mike have to act this time very professionally and carefully. Yes, any O&G project is very challenging and even the most professional oilers cannot be guaranteed from the failure. But Mike has no right now for any wrong doing and have to stick with his plan to drill all four wells including Velociraptor or Fox this year. Otherwise he will lose all his authority and reliability no matter how successful he was in past and most likely will destroy the company. Because it will be very hard to any serious investor to believe that Matad could ever discover oil in Mongolia.

The most crucial factor for me is a professionalism of the company's management and specially it's CEO's. And if the CEO is a true professional and dedicated to the business any hard setbacks and even big capital losses I can accept calmly. And only when I realise that have invested in the crooks' project, even in the most promising one, it is hard to take even small losses without anger. That is why I still much inclined to think that Mike is professional who is looking the oil and not pretending as it was done by some of his scammers- predecessors. And if it is so, then we can forget last year failure and calmly look forward for the success which is most likely is just around the corner now.

Yes, Hawkspear you quite correctly noticed that it was me who now began to command the parade. And I want to tell you in secrete that just today I have contacted both Mike and Mongolian government. And make an offer that could not been rejected. I warn them both either provide quick and steady share price rise up to 40p - 50p before the first well spud. Or I am going to withdraw all of my huge amount of money invested and destroy PM. Together with entire Mongolian O&G industry because it is their only national oil company. I am sure that this is the best way to make them accountable. So, do not worry they will stop fooling us by their imitation of looking for oil and now we will see not only steady SP rise but the oil will be found soon too.

And I would suggest all of us to raise money for a winterise rig for the company. This would speed up the drilling of the first well this year, and if need a hole in the Mongolian government's ass so that all visas, permits and licenses are processed without delay.

But don't forget that our stock is very volatile which is making it very attractive for many traders. And it will be definitely continue to be so until oil is found.

GM buccaneer1961, I agree with you the latest technology is important. But much more important is the responsibility of the people leading the search and the Mongolian government itself. If there were enough of that there should never happen such idiotic problems as visas, late preparation and delivery of the rig, delay in processing all of necessary permits, postpone the drillings etc. Therefore, in Soviet times, and especially under Stalin’s rule, when there was proper control over the expenditure and the strictest labor discipline in both of these countries the one year only was needed to discover the first oil field in Mongolia, since the Mongolian government personally appealed to comrade Stalin. Even in later years soviet experts in very short period of time have discovered oil in such taiga wilds, and in particular in Siberia, where very few people thought that there could be the country's largest oil fields. But when there is no proper control, and money can be cut from investors, like wool from sheep, then why they need to rush to the discovery of oil, when even without oil you can live a luxurious life.
Btw did you e-mail Mike about Rex? It would be interesting to know his opinion. But I assume that his opinion will be very similar, like that of Spainish.

Completely agree, Ojay. If in the USSR or even in Mongolia in soviet era someone would spend public money not in ten years but just two / three years time and would not find oil, then all of them would have been shot. But, now when it is not state money, but ours they can be stolen from us with impunity as much as they want and live a luxurious life. Therefore, let’s see what is going to happen another one more year. If there is still no oil then we have to stop making investments. Instead, I am offering establish our own O&G company, place it on AIM and start to steal, pardon, I wanted to say search the oil in order to return our capital. What you think? Do you think I am jocking? Yes, maybe but carefully looking around we can very clearly see that our life is looking more and more as a joke if not a farce. And if so then why shouldn't we joke too for to get our money back. Lol...but with plenty of truth.

Nice to hear from you Ojay. It is very good that you haven't lost your faith, mate. We all have been hurt but don't forget that it could been quite opposite. Even friend of mine and very good analytic of the O&G industry living in Moscow (and even having bought last year some PM's shares) recently told me that he never could believe that if Mongolian government really wants to find the oil and there is company with qualified personal could take more than 10 years for now to find it.
So, lets hope that this year it will be completely different story and already the first this year drilling will bring to all LTH our so long waiting success.
