SuperRoty I agree with you. We have to learn not to make the same mistakes. But from other side don't forget: Fortune Favours the Brave. And I think we must act much more cautious but at the same time not to miss quite possible huge chance. Such a chance can appear and disappear as easily and unexpectedly as last year’s collapse and we need to be prepared to take it. In other words, fear has big eyes. But we will not be too afraid of what happened a year ago and act in accordance of specific circumstances.

Me too being absolutely sure in SP rise from this 5p level I bought today 100K using money available from my broker and aiming 20 days settlement. But somehow didn't push the button of such settlement and was a bit upset by my mistake. Because quick correction of such mistake by selling and buying again could cost me £200.00. And guess what happens when I decided to wait till midday? I sold it 3 hours late and got instant profit of more than £200.00.
I am not a big fun of day trading. But I have to rethink my abilities to make money. Why to be investor and wait for years dreaming to get some profit if as a trader I am able to make £200 every three/four hours. Lol

Agree with you, biochelm. Today I decided to increase my holdings. And have no doubt those who have underestimated the true potential of this company, paying too much attention to the clearly biased and very poorly founded investigation of the SFO, are grossly mistaken. This investigation has not only brought no benefit to anyone but in contrary have caused tremendous damage to the company and its investors. Nevertheless, PFC will soon fully recover restoring both its image and true market value.

There were 2 only but really the strangest an most unpredictable AIM companies in which I have ever had to invest. First one was Beowulf mining. Which I was out (lakely unharmed and even for small profit) last year after 4 years of waiting an explotation permit. The premit don't granted till now. However I am not quite sure if I am right not getting back now. And second one is PM which is giving me even much more stronger feeling that either MM is complete fool or it is all of us are fools believing in PM success. The only thing I know for sure (and which is giving me full confidence) that very often not our mind or ability that makes us rich but lucky randomness. And that is exactly what I rely on and waiting for now. Lol

Jimithebrush, I had exactly the same expectations last year. Especially after meeting in London where Mike so enthusiastically and convincingly told us about his plans. Unfortunately, his plans were not destined to be realized. And the most unexpected for me was the postpon of two high COS well drilings for the next year. I don't go into the reasons of what happened, but I am sure that this was a big mistake. And if it wouldn't happen we would have already been on the half way to what you rightly write in your post. Therefore lets hope that Mike and his team, will remain masters of their promises this year and carry out everything that was planned. In that case as I am sure we have all of bases to think that our most desirable expectations can easly turn into reality. And that is what I wish to all our Matadors.

Yes, Captain Its me who felt the board had been negligent last year. And I am still at the same opinion. But not because of your primitive reasoning of "they didn't find oil." There were a lot of much more serious faults that BOD was made, namely: loss of two drills, change of drilling locations, two large dilutions, visa issues, late permits, late spud dates etc.
And I pretty much hope that the similar stories will not be repited this year and BOD as well as Mike personally will be able to fulfil all their promises to investors.

And you are trying to explain something to these very serious investors. Good post Jimithebrush. Last year I had exactly the same feelings as you now. I assumed that if a true professional has took the job than he will be able find oil much more quicker than former worthless leadership or even outright crooks looking for it 10 years but finding nothing. However, we have suffered a complete failure again. Let's hope that this time Mike will be able to prove that he and his team worth something and can achieve the result that we all waiting for.

I think we need Mr P. First of all, he, like a nightingale, sings well and that makes the SP rise. And, secondly, he is as a good weightlifter almost in all of his attempts to raise SP's weight has succeed. But unfortunately he does not hold the weight and he throws the barbell at the last moment. You are absolutely right again, kenj as well as Auson. In these countries even if you don't want take a bribe they will put it in your pocket voluntarily with the great thanks if you are signing a big contract. So, there is no way for SFO to prove that there was bribe. Not saying about consultancy of other services agreements signed and properly fulfilled. So, the only way it could be detected if there is any resentful insider decided to disclose hidden details of such deal. But don't forget that there could some SFO insiders amongst the representatives of big company's too. Especially pretty women who are working or have somewhen worked as assistants of big bosses.

How could the SFO think that in such countries, and especially in Azerbaijan, Iraq, Kazakhstan, or Nigeria, someone can take a bribe. There live the most honest people on earth who are engaged in charity only. And they receive and send money or goods openly by trucks or wagons. Lol
