Good news on the horizon?4 Jul 2009 22:36
Today's Telegraph carries a story about a White paper spelling out government plans to cut emissionsof C02 and other greenhouse gases. They're going for a 34% cut from 1990 levels by 2020 - so nothing ambitious there then. Common sense would suggest that one way to hit big targets is to go for gases considered more potent than C02 like er, methane and to stop drawing fatuous distinctions between alternative energy generators that all result in lower greenhouse emissions. If I were an Alkane director this would make me happy! DYO guesswork!
