Agree. If BHP are still sniffing around, they best get a move on as the SP is looking good and their buy price is rising!

A couple of directors buying recently... Not huge amounts but they know it's cheap. Only a matter of time before this pops. Huge overreaction to the last update. Should be £4

LTH here, disappointing to see the SP where it is but this is one share that I just leave tucked away. I do have a question on Russia though. When we were forced to write off our Russian assets at the start of the war... Were they written off from an accounts perspective or have we actually relinquished those assets?

When Trump comes in and ends the war is there a possibility of those assets coming back onto our books and even back payments? Thanks.

Broker upgrades, rumours of BHP again... +5% on the day... Looking good for a breakout here.

I purchased back in 2020 @ 270p...been a great run. I don't

like the sound of the DLG takeover so I have decided to sell up for now and watch from the sidelines. Still a solid condition company and if they dont get dragged into silly M&A still plenty of upside... But for now I'm outm.

Undervalued. Just purchased this morning.

This may pop very quickly over £30 if as reported in FT BHP are back in town.

Either way at these prices there is value and upside.

Sometimes it's not about the destination but the journey.

I started my share trading with this stock pre drill, I learned a lot of lessons and now keep well clear of anything like this these days... But wow those were the best days... I keep the shares locked away... Never to be touched until first oil... The amount here now is thankfully insignificant but it will stay here.

Some of the posts over recent days have brought back some great memories. Liz, Sea Lion strike, Rachel oil to water, sidetracks. Then going for the hammer head and failing, appraisal, guns not firing, 7" pizzas, sharkeys, Marlon, oil baron, syncro et al, Isobel... My brain has so much so much random oil information from those days....

Wherever this goes... Buying shares was never more fun than those day. If there are still a few of the oldies around... I raise a glass to you.

Solid update. Slow and steady back to £6.

Good finish. Held up well. Be interested to hear what that TA posters think of this. I was waiting for a buy just under £3 but looks like it's bounced so made the last of my two buys this morning...we are probably heading back to 340-365 range where there should be good support if we can get there. Thats the plan but this share never ceases to surprise!

Bought and Sold at various points over the last year... Sometimes successfully and sometimes not. But I'm back in fully today. Looks to have bottomed...onwards and upwards

I believe behind the scenes the board are aware of predators lurking. The buy backs and probably leaking of info to sky is an attempt to get the SP up to either deter a bid or make any bid a fairer price. This won't play out overnight but I think the main point here is that there is a drove to get SP up, shorter out etc...

I have held on this long and I'm not about to give up on what I think is the start of the end game

Patience. LTH... Persisted with this share because it is undervalued and at some point it will get taken out.

I will add if it drops because something is brewing. I think we will see a steady climb up to 80p now before any news.

Although my post earlier is quite negative on ENQ, the SP reaction is quite limited. We have tanked on way better updates in the past! Maybe you are onto something and AB is working on Kraken stake increase over additional drilling at this point. Let's see... Still not looking to buy back in just yet but watching

That's not good from Enq. Was looking for some reasons to get back in here but 8 just don't see upside here in short term anyway. Tax high, production low, oil price uncertain, expect bigger decline rates at Kraken with no drilling next year. Will take a bold M&A move to utilise losses better before this becomes attractive again.

So we have an FT article on investors calling for the company to be split in 3. Soames has been defending the strategy... Seems to be a power struggle going on. This is going to pop soon
