Good update today - I think it signals a steadying of the ship and I hope it puts a floor on the SP from here. Whilst it may not yet be a screaming buy for those waiting on the side-lines just yet, Now is not the time to sell if you have been hanging on all this time! Happy to hold and let this play out this year.

Clearly I am missing something here. Seems a huge overaction particularly with Tesco and Sainsburys.

The Asda results and commentary don't seem that bad...it was expected...they have been on the decline for some time - if anything the others would have been taking share off them. M&S should be immune, completely different customer and Asda are having to invest significant sums next year to make up for their failures...that is the opposite of what Marks has been doing.

Buying opp for me...

I am guessing it is the Non-cash impairment . Not had a chance to check whether this was signposted in earlier updates.

Either way, company is in a healthy position and this looks overdone but we have been here many times and it will recover. Patience and add on weakness!

Always volatile on updates - the II's seem able to move it around as they please. The update is imo good, they managed to deliver within the updated guidance which was key, cash at bank is good, outlook good. What is not to like here? Lets see where it finishes at the end of the day.

Some news this morning has given the SP a bounce. Looking positive for the update on Thursday

Pang - Interesting read. Thanks. Seems Ocado are resigned to the fact that they will not get all of the payment so good news for MKS (I am in both but more in MKS thankfully). Can't help but think the negotiations must be involving purchase of the entire retail business...is it bargaining to reduce cost of the remaining 50% for MKS? Whichever way you look at it, the Ocado tie up has been a huge success for MKS...maybe not in reported numbers but increasing economies of scale for M&S products, and the reach...allowing customers to remain loyal to M&S whether they are shopping in store or online....and probably the biggest win is how they have taken share from Waitrose.

Director buy - Good to see confidence from the board at these levels. A quick and good CEO appointment now needed to get the SP back up towards £4. Glad I added and got my average down. GL all

On first glance looking good for Ocado Retail - Revenue +13.9%.

Ocado Retail in the UK continues to lead the way as

consistently the fastest growing grocer in the market and reaching 1 million active shoppers for the first time.

Q4 +17.5% sales growth, fastest growing grocer in the UK

Outlook: Ocado Retail above 10% revenue growth in FY25; underlying EBITDA margins c.4%

Market likes the results, CEO has got himself some more time for now but the activist investors won't stop here...I expect this to kick on from here. Well done to those who held and added.

I remember buying M&S sub £1 not long ago. The market can get things wrong but remember the old saying of the market staying irrational longer than you can stay solvent! These prices will be seen as a bargain eventually but will require patience. Nice big double bottom on that chart! GL all!

Doubled up my holding here at 269 bringing average down nicely. Overdone IMO.

20%+ increase today is not to be ignored. This is a re-rate. I dont think we will see 30s anytime soon.

Well done to those that have held on...I managed to bag a few extra this morning for trading but even those will not be sold until 50p+...the rest will remain.
