I see Arconas International are no longer showing on the AR as having a substantial holding. They held over 30 million not that long ago. And have recently increased their holding in PGD in past month. Surely they haven't had a dump of LND and bought more PGD? Not very friendly, eh?! Taheh Holdings also seem to have gone AWOL (they held 90 million). Not unless there's been some mistakes in the recently published AR or names have changed (either of which seems unlikely).

"non delivery of new products, not having the VVOP lifted and rather generous bonuses / share options". Is that not enough to warrant some action before the Company got bled dry? Mind you, I wouldn't discount some other reason(s).

Is Ogston back? Back where? I have no specific knowledge of the reason behind the coup, other than what appeared out in the public domain ie paying themselves extremely generous bonuses before showing any evidence of having achieved anything material for either the Company or the shareholders.

perhaps from outgoing team? Understandable having now lost their source of generous bonuses being paid to themselves for seemingly producing very little. City Watchdog won't have the powers to get them their jobs back, as nothing illegal has been done here. If it had I'm sure they wouldn't be slow to start litigation for unfair or constructive dismissal.

if this pretty dramatic action taken to remove virtually a whole management team was a good call. I haven't read anywhere what was actually behind the move, other than it appeared the Company was in danger of being bled dry paying out extravagant wages + bonuses for no material achievement/benefit to the Company and/or its shareholders. Let's hope the promised systems improvement/upgrade projects were actually progressing over the past 6 months and are near completion, as are getting the trading approvals - so they can be rolled out to the market.

published this morning. Take a butchers at page 37 and it tells you that the CEO and CFO have bagged bonuses of £528k and £240k for 5 months and 3 months work respectively. Nice work if you can get it!!! On top of that they were planning to award themselves LTIPs in addition to the share options they had already given to themselves. All before they have demonstrated any ability to delivery anything of material benefit for the ord shareholder and/or the Company itself. A business school graduate can make a Company leaner & fitter by delivering a reduction in personnel & overhead expenses. 'Greed' is the word.

It's certainly hard to see how the current BoD can possibly win any vote.

I read it that the class action had been withdrawn. Not the Resolution or the EGM. Seems to me the current management want the status quo and some of the major shareholders want some form of change (which is being refused/resisted by the BoD). Whatever change that may be & for whatever reason. Let's hope the outcome is an acceptable compromise, otherwise it could get nasty with possible major share dealing transactions by the losing party.

I suspect this is no more than a clash of personalities between major shareholders and how 'newbies' are managing the Company. And some of the major shareholder(s) want more direct say + influence in how matters are run by having a voice on the BoD. However, it's starting to look like becoming acrimonious (and expensive and not good PR). Not altogether sure why the management are still pursuing the Resolution, unless Phoenix will be supporting in that vote. Could be a close run thing if they are.

Be interesting to know on what grounds the Company can justify such injunction action. Clearly there's a lot more to this than at first meets the eye. I worry that there'll be no winners and the outcome will be carnage with the shares in issue should any losing party decide to bail. Which you have to say has got to be likely when this matter gets resolved.

I'd be FAR more concerned if one party spat out their dummy if vote doesn't go their way. Both 'sides' hold a fair slug of shares.

It's difficult to give a balanced & constructive view without knowing why Schroder et al have taken the action they have. And lined up the team they have to take over. Although one current Director is being kept, I think. Reads to me the current Board's justification is akin to the Euro vote. Giving loads of negative reasons what might happen if vote goes against them. Most of which could at least be argued against without any conclusion being drawn. Seems likely this is going to the wire. Surprised the uncertainty isn't having any significant impact on the share price performance, which is reassuring for holders.

There isn't one. LND hasn't traded on TSX for many years.

improvement seems to me to have been largely achieved by a staff & overhead cull. No bad thing - don't get me wrong. But not the most demanding of management skills.
