so is 50p share price one helluva recovery. Would give it a Mkt Cap of almost £500 million for a Company posting a little over £2m profit for past 6 months after nearly going bust in 2014 and still can't operate in the UK until trading ban is removed.

Yes, I do wonder about that, Morley. I know I boringly banged on all this year about the 'suspicious' ATs that were a regular daily occurrence. Given that 97% of shares SHOULD be in safe hands and not be traded it simply never made any sense to me. As you know the ATs were always for fairly small values, but were regular as clockwork and had the effect of pegging the sp back imho for months on end. Approx 80% of the share transactions were ATs for every month of this year. Yet just last week Mon-Thurs it was 80% 'O' transactions with only a handful ATs. Suspicious or what???

In a matter of 7 weeks the share incentive scheme he has granted himself has turned £90k into £1.3million. As Mrs Brown might say........ "that's nice".

OFF TOPIC sdp I don't like to tip any share. Kiss of death!! But when my funds from CPP clear I'm looking to go back into PGD. A company I have followed and traded in loads of times from Day One ie 15 years ago.

Yes, that's something to look forward to sdp. I am not privy to any insider info but I do have a very reliable & trustworthy contact who has close contact at the highest level within CPP. There's no doubt CPP has loads of potential as a Company and for the sp to become many multiples of the price that Phoenix & Co bailed it out with last year. But there's baggage & uncertainty too and a few major hurdles to overcome over next 9 months or so. However, if the new CEO and FD hang about then there's every chance of success. Watching with interest.

sdp Don't under-sell it......... this is GREAT news......... about as positive as we could have dared hope for. Been a wee bit of inevitable profit taking for 5-10 mins but looks like heading back north. Bit of encouraging press coverage over weekend and maybe we may see 15p+ by end of month?

It is a tad misleading & irritating. Personally I am really only interested in what the bid is. And that's UP over 10% this week. So in effect the shares are worth 10% more than they were this time last week. HOWEVER if you look at the individual trades reported virtually all of them are recorded as being sells. Logically that can't be true, 2 trades so far today and they look every bit as being sells, but i bet in reality they were actually buys. As the bid has gone up not down. At least the 2 trades today were 'O' trades.

IF they can justify issuing a bullish Half-Year Report and that in turn generates positive press then I think we can expect the sp to recover quite significantly. Interesting few weeks coming up for sure.

If it was a sell on top of all the other usual daily AT sells......... you'd think the end of day price wouldn't be blue figures. Showing as a sell on this platform but as a buy on some other financial sites.

in theory 96% of total CPP shares should be held in safe hands and shouldn't be getting traded. The ATs have rolled in on a daily basis during the whole of 2015 regardless of what price the bid was sat at. It stinks imho.

It can't be so here - as if you look back over past 6 months of CPP share trading then approx 75% of total trades reported have been classified as ATs. And there's been many hundreds of them during 2015. I hold stock in 2 AIM miners and I had a quick look there today. There's on average 20 trades a day (obviously a mix of buys & sells) yet there hasn't wasn't a single AT recorded on either stock during the whole of July. Maybe tallestperson could shed some light on matter? There again...............

My gut is also telling me - IF we have any buying volume of any degree this will spring north. Certainly back above the 10p mark which it last was when it became public knowledge about the fundraising last year. Fingers crossed. It's been a bit of a slow burner during 2015.......... to put it mildly!!

Thanks for that LATINLOU. FWIW - somehow I have this gut feeling there's far more to tallestperson than meets the eye with his posts on here. Even someone who is mentally retarded wouldn't surely spend the amount of time on here and over such a long period of time posting the boring drivel he/she did? Although they haven't disappeared altogether I notice the ATs aren't as frequent as they have been. Looks like the MMs may have got to grips with that particular problem.
