Hi there - been away today, but am guessing the village idiot has returned. He's an attention seeker like no other. What a life he must lead. I wanged off an email to the LSE addy you posted on here last week but it got returned to me stating 'sender address rejected - access denied'. For what it's worth below is a c&p from my email - if you or anybody else wanted to crib it & send to LSE:- You apparently have suspended the poster going by the name of 'tallestperson' for the past few days this week. That suspension is apparently over. He has returned this morning posting the same malicious lies about directors of CPP Group plc. Please don't take my word for it - have a look back at the CPP thread on your site for past few months. tallestperson has been monopolising this BB with endless boring & repetitive posts. Apart from making up accusations that are libellous, he/she is having a negative impact on the enjoyment & benefit of this BB for everyone else. I appreciate there is a filter button available to use but that only is of any one person benefit and not for unsuspecting casual users or visitors to your site. Perhaps you would care to review the situation? Many thanks in anticipation.

Spread has been less than 1% on several occasions over past few weeks. Something I have flagged up on this thread a couple of times.

I am trying to find out what's going on here. Been best part of 1,000 ATs since last CPP fundraise. Obviously Data Protection Act makes it hard to establish hard facts. However my registering complaints to the regulators has at least thrown up a few interesting pieces of information. What's going on here isn't illegal BUT is highly irregular given many circumstances. The ATs account for nearly 75% of the trades made on CPP over past 6 months. Which is slightly bizarre given that 96% of total shares should be held in safe hands. Plus, they are all mainly extremely small value and not executed in the traditional manner that 'normal' shareholder buy or sell stock. You can find out about ATs generally by going onto the London Stock Exchange website. Maybe tallestperson can shed some light on whole matter when he returns from his sentence?

Looks like the MMs might be dealing with the ATer. At long last.

I don't know for sure - but I suspect there's a link between the new computer system(s) they are working on that has been mentioned previously being linked to giving certain guarantees to the regulators that the business model will not generate any of the problems that happened in the past. I would hope any statement or PR attached to the publication of the Interims due very soon will give some specific time frames.

Cheers sdp. I'll wang something off too (as I probably have a bit more to say on the matter than you!! LOL). I just thought with you being a paying customer they would give more attention to what you had to say. Posting malicious lies or insinuations on a BB about Directors of a PLC is a criminal offence. Unfortunately, there's no reason why the ATs won't continue even if my theory is correct. But it would help for there not to be the continuous flow of negative drivel on here to possibly influence others.

I think you'd be doing all genuine holders of CPP stock a favour if you can persuade LSE to ban tallestperson. They can do that as they will have his details & ip address to block permanently (even if he tries to re-register). The justification would be to LSE his monopolising of this BB with endless boring & repetitive posts - some of which are proven malicious lies regarding directors of CPP. And all this having a negative impact on the enjoyment or benefit of this BB for everyone else. It wouldn't now surprise me if all these ATs over many months (1,000+) aren't the work of this particular poster.

That's fine for the likes of me (and you) to use the filter button. But what about unsuspecting newbies visiting this thread & maybe wanting to do a bit of research on CPP before investing. All they'll see is pages upon pages of repetitive drivel from 'tallestperson'. Get quickly bored & move away. Not ideal.

a paid up Premium Services member of LSE? If so, could you do all of us a big favour and request they remove 'tallestperson' otherwise you will withdraw your subscription. It's clear to see, he just posts repetitive nonsensical drivel day-after-day and spoils this BB/thread for ord interested CPP shareholders or prospective investors. He sounds a bitter & twisted individual. Wouldn't be so bad if he made any sense. But he doesn't. He just makes it up with trumped up & outrageous fantasy theories and lies that are attention seeking material. Many thanks in anticipation.

sdp I agree. Clear for all to see, the sp is holding up well - all things considered. I'd still like to see an end to those pesky ATs. Often they are for a pathetic small value - yet still move the price. When the trading restrictions are removed this should really start to motor. And that point in time must be getting close now.

Usually a good sign for an AIM listed Co.

I received a partial response (matter still being investigated). Sorry but I can't post on a public forum what that response was. No ATs today I note btw. Interesting that the spread is now less than 1%. There's been quite a few 100k trades over the past 10 days. Mostly showing up as sells. But I wonder if that actually is the case?

with seconds of each other - one being 100k and bid moves to 5.76p to facilitate this. And then again within seconds the bid moves back to 6.60p. There's an odd smell about this.

You say they are quote "dishonest". Yet they are the ones who pumped £20 million of their own money into this. Better that than wasting your time posting ad nauseam transparent lies onto a financial BB.

frankly they could just as easy have allocated themselves 666,000 shares with the original & then existing 10p nominal value.
