For so long this Co needed a figure head at the coal-face working full-time giving all his time & energy to PGD successfully driving projects forward. Not spending half his time, half a sleep, in an aeroplane mulling over facts & figures whilst going from Italy to UK to Canada to Argentina and involved with other projects with other companies.

It's market forces why the sp has been as it is. Simple as. Virtually no buyers or sellers about. Why? Don't know for sure but probably potential buyers/traders waiting for news on Cap Oeste. If they make more of a success of Cap O than they did at Lomada then expect this to shoot up (just like others in same sector have done recently). For 15 years they have been very good at talking the talk....... time now to walk the walk.......... new man leading the show........ fingers crossed he's got what it takes.

is that Gold price has risen 20% over past 12 months. Whilst PGD sp has fallen over 20% in past year. A differential of 40%. Just saying.

The only news we want is confirmation of successful commissioning at Cap Oeste. Could/should be anytime in Q3 but more likely to be in September imo. Happy to be wrong. If the news is positive at Cap Oeste then expect the traders to be flying in here and there to be a sudden surge in the sp.

More misleading ramping nonsense from cloud9. There was NO purchase of shares. They were granted in lieu of wages. The article he c&p'd link onto various BBs was "cr*p' journalism to quote cloud9 today on another BB. Ah well, guess we all make mistakes. Just some more than others. Watch this space.

of course if the MMs have a large buy or sell order they want to work through the system over several days/weeks. That makes a big difference. But otherwise as a general rule Morley is right. Any buying pressure and the stock should rise in value. Any selling and it will likely fall quicker. The MMs (in theory) should know no more than we do about a stock. The publication of a RNS can change the situation entirely for obvious reasons.

your typical PI in AIM stock is so dumb they rely on what's automatically recorded on financial sites like this as being a buy or a sell - when quite often they are not what they purport to be. Though anyone with a bit of common sense & intelligence can usually work it out....... especially taking into account protected/delayed trades reported when market is closed.

Could be either. Good or bad. Depends on the individual. When Humphries used to buy on the open market there'd be a RNS issued. History will show it was a sure fire signal that sp was heading south and his purchases were acts of support rather than insider knowledge. It sure as hell ended up misleading a load of PIs on these BBs who were wetting themselves at the time with excitement that Humphries was buying on the open market. On the positive with this recent insider purchase......... the sp can't drop much further and must surely at some point in time greatly improve?

raising the Offer today it seems on back of some buying. But Bid remains the same. Some large(ish) trades over past few days that are hard to say for sure if buys or sells. Could be a seller being worked through the system might explain why Bid hasn't moved.

That's a tad over-simplistic if not true. They must get the project producing a certain minimum volume to justify the massive capital investment/expenditure before it shows ANY profit.

Looks more a case of expense containment. They haven't so much as changed broker, more passed over the duties of broker to their Nominated and financial adviser.. Cantor Fitzgerald never exactly set the heather on fire for us, did they? I've lost count of the number of different Brokers PGD have engaged over the past 16 years.
