You'd think the timing is deliberate? MMs clearly unimpressed judging by sp movement. This time next year, Rodney...................... Year 15.

I hope not. MMs and investors demob happy for festive period. Little trading activity & volume for next 14 days or so. Couldn't be a more inappropriate time for any significant corporate update. But, there again,............. this is PGD

Hi Ajinbali You could be right there........ from memory I think the problem area is more specific to Esquel rather than the entire Chubut region. But I could be wrong. It's such a long time ago. Isn't Esquel an area designated as being of outstanding natural beauty, tourist area etc........ and that prompted the greenies to march in protest?

The mining ban in the Chubut region is still in force. Has been for a number of years........ 8 or 9 years?? If it was lifted it would probably be a game changer for PGD. There's been the odd comment or article that suggests strenuous efforts are being made. All to do with politics and the 'greenies'.

Have they got the funds in place to carry out the drilling prog mentioned in (Q1 &2) 2017? Or do they need to raise funds? Placement before they announce the resource estimate? Seems likely imo.

You are splitting hairs there, pal. Barrick featured in the AR for many a year. Certainly up until 2013/14 time as a confirmed 'substantial shareholding'. That may have dropped back after the massive fundraise at 4.5p that the CP participated in......... but to all intense & purposes Barrick hold a significant amount of shares in PGD and perhaps more important have a PGD 'history'.

You do realise Barrick are a major shareholder in PGD?

Courtesy of a link on another BB there's a recent Kitco update that Barrick Gold see growth in Latin America and have appointed an Argentine to the Board. Might be something of nothing as far as PGD is concerned......... but you never know!!!

It's loose change......... but hopefully the start of something sustained at last.

Have heard it all now. Think someone's been reading too many financial analysts blogs. Even if there's a major correction on Wall Street it won't have the slightest direct impact on PGD's share price. Only 2 things will :- 1) Buying pressure on the stock 2) Significant corporate update In the meantime this is heading back to sub 2p. Like it or not. NB it's ugly sister Co LND published positive news via a drilling update yesterday. Did the sp rise? No. Why? Because there wasn't any Buy trades to speak of.

I've long held the view that BNC was a 'buy' product of the very early AIM days and at a time of the dot.com bubble nonsense. Those days have long gone with AIM listed companies.
