You cannot have a RTO voted on as part of an AGM agenda that is already published. You cannot vote on something like a RTO until you have been sent the terms & conditions of that proposal.

Am I right to say shares suspended only because of RTO? Has terms & conditions of RTO been approved by shareholders? Appreciate there's an impending re-admission document......... but surely RTO has to be approved first??? OR maybe there is to be no RTO??????????

Thought they may have combined the AGM with the GM for shareholders to formally approve the terms & conditions of the RTO on same day. One meeting to follow the other. Save on some expenditure & kill 2 birds with one stone. Obviously not.

this sp has been consistently on it's knees since late 2014. Rarely been 3p+ in that time. Let's hope there's a strong recovery once they start pumping some serious earnings into the coffers.

If they have been producing all this stock over past few months so that it can be accounted for and represented on re-admission and was a major justification given for pushing back the date for re-admission to AIM......... not sure I understand the need for a 2nd fundraiser in past 5 months - on very generous terms. Key seems to me to be knowing exactly what the terms & conditions are regarding the RTO. It's a case of blind faith without knowing that.

Not sure they are making a profit right at the mo. As they are not producing much. But IF they produce the volume in 2nd half that is forecast and PoG stays around current levels then there SHOULD be quite a recovery in sp. IF. Trouble is PGD's credibility in on the floor and they need to demonstrate they can do the business. Not just talk a good strategy. But deliver it.

Occasionally large trades can (& do) get executed behind the scenes and/or in private. Never to be reported on financial sites like this.

Van Eck held at one point over 70 million and it was easy to monitor their PGD holding as they published it on their website. Then they sold over 35 million and that had a serious effect on the PGD sp. Since when it hasn't seemed possible to get a handle on what they have done with the other 35 million odd. Well, I certainly haven't been able to establish it. Have asked the question several times on the BBs but no reply. No surprise there then. Cookie - why don't you grow a pair?? Nobody is de-ramping this stock. And even if they were it would have no material impact. Posting critical comments on a Company that has promised the earth for 15 years and continually fails to deliver for the ordinary shareholder any tangible value in their holding - that isn't de-ramping. I still hold but also still looking for first opportunity to sell, solely on basis having lost so much value over the years the only way is up. Not a great investment strategy I grant you. News due soon imho. All good. 3p by next week imho. "imho". LMAO.

It stands to reason the earliest time they can convene a GM and/or relist is late June. Hence that's their stated target time frame.

Near £200 million cash burn and countless failures to deliver on projects over past 15 years. The share values have been diluted into oblivion from 2003 days. Looks like to me a strategic move that could be initially a case of having to take one step back to hopefully take 4 steps forward down the track in a year or so. For such an apparent great deal - little immediate reaction from Market either in terms of sp movement or buying of stock. Good to see the mounting liabilities & debts get reduced though. Will Cap O produce enough profit to prevent further fundraising needed for Calcatreu?? That could be key.

Sorry ajinbali have no idea ref requirements on declarations. This particular declaration via RNS (cookie needs to go to Specsavers if he thinks that's a good spot of yours) kinda has end of tax year obligations in mind as much as anything. Never got to bottom of Van Eck's holding. Maybe they are taking that over??? Just a 'mad' thought!!!! My 150k trade never got published yesterday even after Close.

of course the additional shares could have changed hands in a private transaction.

ajinbali........quite possible those additional shares bought sometime back (even back to fundraising times) and they simply haven't or forgot to publish going over a certain holding threshold.
