Looks like could be heading for a bull run soon.

Cookie I guess an update is due or even over-due. It's now 14 months since they first mentioned the Uruguay Earn-In Agreement in which they stated the strategic objective was to "discover a potential stand alone gold resource within 18 months". Note the word "within". Only a few months left to go then!!! I also guess progress, in part, was subject to a healthy cash-flow injection from Cap O to fund things up in Uruguay. And that doesn't appear to have happened. Not yet anyway. So that might be a reason why matters appear to be going at a snails pace?? But who knows for sure, eh? We only get told what they want you to hear. A bit like posts on BBs. Say something positive and everyone loves you for it. Be critical or realistic or objective and you're a deramper talking out his backside. Watch this space.

that Nickel seems to get quite a mention from Big Al for the first time in yonks. Pretty lazy journalism mind - 80% repeat quotes & facts and 20% other. Even Lamaune gets a mention over Lithium. Anyone going to the Lamaune AGM on 8 Feb? Iron Ore price soaring since The Donald has pulled from the Trans-Pacific deal. Imports to China top 1 billion for first time in several years. Spot price has doubled in past year (albeit from a low base).

Trouble is you have to go back several years before seeing any published RNS directly had any material impact on the sp performance. And there's been loads published. Something significant has to announced to kick-start this I'm afraid. So may more alternative attractive investment opportunities out there at the mo. Plus their reputation & credibility is in the gutter after so many objectives not delivered on over past 10 years.

I would hardly call a 5.9% increase in past 30 days as "flying". Especially as the rise is from a low base. PoG is still down against 6 months ago...... and a whopping 25% down against price it was at 5 years ago.

Yip...... massive potential..........just like PGD displayed as it traded for ages in the 40-70p range. And loads of mug punters lost loads of their money.

Current delivery is relative peanuts. Enough to see the sp improve I grant you to nearer 5p. And enough to cover cash burn for next 3 years. But nothing, as yet, to set the heather on fire. Many miners trading on AIM look on paper to have massive potential. But never deliver.

Everyone can see the massive potential. That potential has been there for many a year. But potential by itself does nothing long term. There comes a point in time that delivery counts for everything. Especially after 15 years and £150m+ spend.

How can you say after 15 years of PGD shares trading on AIM that it's performing "under the radar". You normally associated that type of crass BB comment to a newly listed Company. If PGD is operating currently under the radar then their investor relations strategy clearly stinks. More likely to be a simple case of them needing to prove themselves to the Market that they can deliver.

But let's hope 2017 is a guid one. Personally think Q1 might see a recovery to 4-5p. Broker Note (08/05/08) - 12 Month Price target = 15p. + projected Net Earnings £25m in 2014. Broker Note (10/07/10) - Price target = 28p. + projected Net Earnings £48m in 2015 (EPS = 6.63p). Broker Note (13/01/11) - Price target = 70p. + EBITDA of £4.05m in 2011, -> £20.55m in FY2012

"Perspection"....... what does that mean ???? 15 years and £150 million spend to date. Yeah..... moving forward at pace.......... someone yanking your chain away from the BB? They have been in a JV for past 10 years....... can't see justification for your excitement at possibility of another one.

values the Company at over £100m Be surprised if they generate a 10th of that in net profit over next couple of years.

Not so sure what's so nice about yet again failing to deliver on targets they set themselves. Not even 20% actually achieved this time for YE 2016 production at Cap O. And having to invest another $3.6m they hadn't mentioned previously or thought needed and/or had budgeted for. Doubling their product target (the original bar was set pretty low) is all well and good........ as long as they deliver on it.......... and at a reasonable net profit margin........ otherwise it'll only keep the Company ticking over and keep folks in jobs and wages paid. It'll do sod all for the private investor and/or the sp.

based on today's update c&p'd from another BB:- "I note that, "The pit optimisation was carried out at a price of US$1,300/oz Au and US$20/oz Ag ...", which at current prices is optimistication rather than optimisation! At best it will be marginal but I suppose it keeps everybody busy. I fail to see much (or anything) to cheer about."

is obviously a step in the right direction and fairly positive news. But only IF they deliver on it. Something they have failed to do in the past. Market closes in a couple of hours!!
