Trouble is some of it really isn't 'news'. But been known & reported in AR many years back. Appreciate it's a long game......... but after 15 years....... and over £150 million spend........... delivery is needed.

The last thing we want is Chinese investment monies. We clearly have access to any funding needed. And we have the gold in ground. Confidently predicting in 2012 that by 2015 we'd be producing 200k pa. It's all about finding a way to source it economically.

Count yourself lucky m8. I could tell you loads of AIM listed companies that have gone t*its up and shares ceased trading. I personally have invested in 4 over past 15 years. Here today, gone tomorrow. The one that hacks me off most was Loftus Road (QPR FC) which I thought was a sure fire thing largely funded by a millionaire at the time and also involved with Wasps rugby club.

The situation can always change dramatically in a short period of time with AIM stock. With the revenue to be generated from Cap O hopefully there'll be no more Placements and share dilutions (although that's not a given if a new underground mine ever needs to be built). What's needed more than anything here is a new institutional investor buying on the open market. Like Van Eck & BlackRock did. Frankly that was the main reason why this rocketed to 70p when they invested and back to 2p when they had all but sold out. Little to do with price of gold. Or probably fundamentals either. I'm holding out for 5p. Seems a realistic target. Double bubble from here. Be happy with that.

Gold has risen over 300% since this Co formed 15 years ago. FACT. For all the good it's done the private investor. May or may not happen in the future??????

Cookie - there's been lots going on here for past 15 years. That's part of the problem today. Lack of achievement having spent some £150 - 200 million. Had it not been for Miguens this Co certainly ceased trading yonks ago imo.

ajin I agree 100% with what you say. My sentiments too. You know PGD has always projected huge potential and anticipated news flow has never been a concern or an issue or far off in time. Only when it comes - it's always like a damp squib reaction. I think we need a serious buyer of stock to appear before any significant improvement in sp. Similar to Van Eck or BlackRock. El Bagual + Sarita + La Paloma +La Marciana + Mount Leon + Los Toldos etc etc as well as the mainstream projects like Cap Oeste & Lomada have all promised much over the years. Delivery not so impressive.

Oh for goodness sake cookie........ a buy????? The trade executed at 2.25p The bid = 2.5p and the Offer = 2.7p.

Don't think PGD are producing enough gold even for Donald's lift let alone office. All good.

I never said everyone shot him down in flames. Nor do I suspect everyone thought he really was an investment guru either. Just exaggerating to make the point about what the majority of folks only want to read & tick up on. Ramping nonsense much of the time. Boom. AoW was once upon a time a prolific poster. Out of interest - whatever became of the herd of regular posters over on the other iii channel? I remember the days AoW used to be acknowledged by the majority as some sort of investment guru - when he was posting positive about PGD. When his posts turned to being highly critical of the Company he was quickly shot down in flames. Hardly anyone seems to post there now. Shame - AoW clearly is an intelligent & knowledgeable fella who seemed to be stating the highly implausible. Yet with benefit of hindsight most of his main concerns have come to pass in this long running saga. Tell the folks only what they want to hear seems to be way of it on these BBs. Especially for the juvenile posters who tick up on any banal remotely positive comment.

that must be why the buyers are flooding in? Launched formally on AIM 15 years ago at circa 14p (ex IPO). Now worth 2.75p. That's what you call "all good"?? LOL. Let's hope PoG improves otherwise this'll be like Lomada all over again with the revenues getting absorbed by costs & overheads. And create need for yet more fundraising.
