Mercedes list the price for new diesel Vito's as they know there are plenty of gullible people, the sort who believe in MMGW and the COVID jabs. Then when they've got them hooked, they can try and sell them and e-Vito for £63k or a second hand diesel one for more than the list price (if low mileage or near the list price with high mileage).

Try the Mercedes website. For my area only one new Vito came up in the search of their website, an e-Vito for £63k. Plus if you Google Mercedes Vito you will see used vehicles for more money than the new price.

When I was in the Dentist waiting I had a look at the magazines. In one taxi magazine there was an article about vehicles with ICE increasing in value, as the alternative EV's are not fit for purpose due to range, lack of charging and cost. One driver bought a Diesel Vito in 2018 from new for £34k (it was a 2016 plate). Then after driving it for about 6 years and with 210k miles on the clock, sold it for £46k.

Apparently, they can take up to 7 passengers and suitcases on airport runs and with the weight, lights and heater, the range of the alternative EV's can't cope.

My own diesel car is worth exactly what I paid 6 years ago, despite adding almost 120k miles. Nobody wants to buy EV's except those in business who can benefit from the government subsidies. Hence, vehicles with ICE are either holding their values or even appreciating.

E.T. - Thats not true. Roads are gravel base, then crushed Dolomite and topped with three layers of ashphalt. Concrete is only used on bridges, flyovers etc. Therefore, to change to concrete roads would require a massive increase the amount of cement, which when added to gravel and dolomite becomes concrete.

Concrete production equates to 8% of the World's Carbon footprint. If tarmac roads are replaced with concrete, the CO2 figures will go through the roof! Another idea just for the virtue signalling rich. No doubt they'll build a highway in California for the rich to save them having to charge their cars, while lying to the World about saving the planet.

Redknight1 - S and P Global show median AISC costs for large Gold miner's of $1328/oz in Q4/2023 and a realised price of $1974/oz, giving a 32.7% profit (Kinross Gold is spot on the median). My figures of $1700/oz and $2500/oz just illustrate how the profits are going up in multiples, even though the Gold price has only gone by less than 50%. IMHO, this is why basing the takeover price on the NPV, especially one using only 30% of the asset, is meaningless, especially near the start of a prospective super cycle for Gold, Silver and Copper.

Franco Nevada valued SOLG at $10bn years ago, when they bought 1% for $100m. This was when the metal prices were much lower and SOLG wasn't as advanced with permits.

The figure used for Gold in the PFS was $1700/oz and with most miners having costs of $1300/oz, that equates to $400/oz profit. Last month Gold was close to $2500/oz, which equates to treble the profit. Furthermore, there's been predictions of $3-10k/oz for the near future price of Gold. Therefore, with 20 majors visiting the data room and 6 involved with SOLG, the final price could be much more than £1. Takeovers of junior miners are usually between 1 and 5 percent of the in ground value, which from memory, was about 54p to £2.70 on a recent post (Gold, Silver and Copper prices are fluctuating, but trending upwards).

Keeping positive definitely helped one of my best friends. He had Leukemia and was told that he had about three years. He lasted almost ten years as he had a positive manner.

When Farage was on QT regularly, it was because the topic of Brexit featured on the programme almost every week for a few years either side of the vote. However, he was outnumbered by those against Brexit, who were mainly rich business people or politicians. The rich enjoyed the cheap labour from the EU, while the politicians enjoyed lucrative positions in the EU Commission or associated quangos. These politician's posts were often after losing their seats (Paton) or their place in the cabinet (Brittan, Mandelson).

It amazes me how gullible people are today with access to information that wasn't easily obtained in the past. This country is finished IMHO, as it's been taken over by the woke left who hate our history .If my investments ever come good, I'm probably heading to India, where some of my best friends are moving after retirement (Kicked out of Uganda by Amin). At least they like the links with the UK and some of what we built, like the railways and their Civil Service. They still carry out the census in the way we used to here and it's completed in a matter of months. Here in the UK we modernised it and it takes us a few years, despite the disparity in population sizes. We're going backwards and they will become a superpower.

Why would Lord Cameron allow British missiles to be used by Ukraine to target places inside Russia? Why under COVID lock downs were we only allowed to travel 15 minutes from home? Nothing to do with the future 15 minute cities. Why were we advised to use plastic and not money? Nothing to do with the push for a digital currency. Why was COVID being researched and paid for by the USA in a lab. in Wuhan? Why at the start of COVID were flights banned from Wuhan internally in China, but not internationally? Why did so many thousands of NHS employees refuse the jab despite the threat of losing their jobs? Time to wake up.
