However, while P2X2P doesn't require batteries, the most efficient usevof the Hydrogen is via Hydrogen Fuel Cells, which are BATTERIES! The alternative is to burn the Hydrogen, which is less efficient and produces NOX. Only an imbicile would dwell on this point of P2X2P not using batteries.

Will the P2X2P have miles of Copper pipes transporting the Hydrogen to somewhere else? No. Will the Hydrogen be converted to electricity with a boiler and steam? No. The most efficient form of conversion will be used, namely Hydrogen fuel cells. As soon as you add the Hydrogen fuel cells it becomes a BATTERY!

The empirical evidence ia that 50+ computer models in different universities, not even 2 with the same figures, all agreed that the average temperature of the planet was 15°C and that it was going to increase by at least 0.5°C by the Millenium. However, after over 2 decades of this prediction, the IPCC and those universities started using 14°C in 1997. This was because without losing a whole degree, the temperature would have shown a drop of almost 0.4°C. After manipulation the Millennium figure of 14.6°C showed an increase.

My reply highlights the fact that the NM deal wasn't that bad. I don't think anyone would turn down a $10bn bid or even $5bn for a 50% RSA. The latter would be enough to build the mine and pay out a special dividend.

Pbow - If the rate NM got for 1% is extrapolated, then for a full takeover it equates to $10bn. I know that if a major paid this price they have the costs of building the mine to add, whereas FN get the 1% with no additional costs. However, the deal was before Alpala was advanced with permits etc and when only 85% was owned by SOLG. The metal prices were much lower as well, with recent prices of Gold equating to 3.5 x the profit when Gold was $1750/oz.

However, claiming that it's a climate emergency because the average temperature could increase by 1.5-2°C is totally absurd for a Tropical species with a blood temperature between 36°C and 37°C. At 35°C hypothermia starts and even at 21°C this can happen in a few days or even a few hours if caught in a storm. It's only our ability to make clothes, shelter and farm foods to provide adequate warmth, which has allowed us to escape the Tropics.

If the contract was terminated in 2020 why have they waited until now? IMHO they needed to steal the election again, otherwise they could have announced this four years ago or when Frontera ran out of time with the liquidation process.
