The average temperature of the planet turns from 15°C to 14°C.
The IPCC for decades informed the World that the average temperature of the planet was 15°C and that by the millennium it would increase by at least half a degree. This was based upon over 50 university computer models, all with different figures, not even with two having the same figures. However, they were all agreed on two points, namely that the average temperature was 15°C and that it would increase by at least half a degree by the millennium. It was plainly obvious by 1997 that the temperature was going down, not up, resulting in all the computer models finding that they needed to change their methodology. All 50+ had made a mistake, all by the same magnitude and all in the same direction. The average temperature of the planet became 14°C by 1998, resulting in an increase to 14.62°C by the millennium. In reality the temperature had dropped from 15°C to 14.62°C, which was backed up by increased sea ice in Antarctica. The IPCC disputes the increased sea ice trying to argue that other areas had less, when some had more. Finally, when the satellite images were indisputable, the IPCC changed tack. They now argued that the increased sea ice was due to the glacial meltwater freezing easier than sea water, as it's fresh water. While glacial meltwater does freeze easier, there's thousands of miles of coastline, with large parts having very little glacial river flow, yet with vast increases in sea ice. When Prof. Ridd pointed out that the lower temperature was causing the death of the Great Barrier Reef, as colder oceans dissolve more CO2, becoming Carbonic Acid. He was duly sacked and the IPCC tried to blame the coral death on rising temperatures. They overlook the fact that the warmest part of the oceans is the Coral Triangle, which happens to posses the largest number of coral species and fish species of any reef system.
In the Artic, the result was an increase in Polar Bears, resulting in them having to be culled as they encroach on urban settlement. When Prof. Susan Crockford pointed this out, she was also sacked.
The other effect of colder Polar regions, both of which are deserts, is that the colder air moves the jet streams from the Polar regions into the Temperate regions. This results in blocking the weather systems giving record lows in Winter and heatwaves in Summer. I recent years there's been record snow in Arizona, Texas, the Sahara, Menorca, Japan and the Eastern Seabord of the USA. There's also been skating on the canals in Amsterdam for the first time in over 50 years.
What has caused these lower temperatures? It's through the Sun entering the Grand Solar Minimum, resulting in less Solar Radiation. In Dark Winter, by Casey, a former NASA scientist he explains how this has dropped the temperature on other planets in our solar system, as well as on the Earth.
