No. They never do. The shares are forward sold so that on the day of issue they just supply the brokers with the balance of shares they need to balance their books. But the shares themselves are usually flipped in full or in part before the issue. In this case, the sp is a fraction below the issue price, meaning zero profit at the moment. Which creates an overhang. But that's the risk these brokers take for their clients.

A good chunk of shares probably forward sold anyway, as the always are. I've never seen shares "hit the market" in any company

It should also be obvious that because the free float here is very low (I think around 20%), it's not going to be a case of just raise whatever whenever. There are a lot of shareholders to discuss with.

Infact I reckon an open offer would be very likely here.

I think we are required to settle about 3m to bond holders quite quickly, but if that has been raised and the price hasn't really dipped much then it shows the confidence here.

Just a crazy low share price here, especially after they have pretty much finished restructuring debts. This should be at the very least about 15p now Imo.

The rns said before end of 2019 for the vast majority of the raise. It would be quite damaging to shareholders to raise any more than the prompt part now. I could see interested parties taking a direct equity stake in this during the raise.

Imo it should be no change to outlook. It's extending a period we need to be covered for, but all parties are already in agreement. We could be all boxes ticked in a week etc.

You are mistaking what I'm saying. The unsolicited offers were based on mtmy NOT being in the position they will probably be in tomorrow. So they are not really that relevant now Imo. But a new offer (probably from the same people) would sky rocket this.

I'd say those two offers (past tense) were great, but the bondholders position now makes this different Imo.

However, this is a high revenue company, with a very respectable gross margin that was 50-70p before all this bondholder stuff. So it may be foolish but I do believe we will start to rerate over the rest of this week.

Let this creep up 15-20% say for a few days and watch the herd miss it entirely :D
