Basically at the moment some large sells going through. Can't blame those who have held a long time getting out. These need to clear before this can move. But as the price isn't moving much it shows there is a big appetite for these shares. Just wait for it to pop.

I do like how we have some keyboard warriors on here who know better than a multi billion dollar company.... Petrochina would not have pursued this so long if they were not certain they could get this signed off and built no matter what the implications for compulsory purchase of land. There is just too much money involved for it not to happen Imo. And Bangladesh badly needs this.

Powerchina is the 4th or 5th largest contractor in the world I believe. They are not going to be messing around here, and bangladesh badly need the energy.

Because they have retained such a large % they can just outsource the construction to a firm to pay all costs, for say 20%. Job done and a great deal for all in the long run.

The later they leave it to get %, the less we will get. As more oil makes the field more valuable, and any whiff of oil in djeno and snpc will jack up the price.

Anyone seriously looking for a djeno hit, you should be buying in now. Purely as if it doesn't work out you can probably still exit above 10p, there will be some wiggle room.

You have to remember, there is obviously some reason snpc are not paying out. For 104, 105, 106 etc we will *still* expect them to fund their side of the costs. A permanent settlement to hand over more of the field is better in the short and medium term for everyone.

There is a fifth option. We permanently take more of the acreage on the existing field in lieu of the $8m. I think this is the most likely outcome.

It really would be something if we owned 84% of this field in the license renewal discussions....

It did, but I guess you can interpret that in different ways. Buying into other existing producing fields, or acquiring more of the existing one.

I am reasonably confident the next news will be us taking a larger % of the field from snpc. Strong buy.

Agreed. It does seem to me the quickest way for aaog to make good money here is to put all their energy into chasing our jv partners for the £13m they owe us. If I were a substantial shareholder I'd be chasing JB until that is resolved or otherwise explained to shareholders.

You do realise federmm that they *have* already found oil, and quite a lot of it. Exceeding expectations.

From what I gather 44m in the mengo around where we are drilling is good. I wouldn't say exceptional but better than average. And much more importantly, it's *onshore*

Or it could be 750bopd with another 400bopd from 101. Which makes operational payback overall a lot closer
