Wow. More revenue than market cap!? Now that's an rns

I would be expecting if this shows a strong recovery tomorrow that people with an average over £1 will be scrambling to average down.

They just missed their own profit projection which was known to be overly ambitious anyway it seems. So imo this should be back nearer £1.10 range.

Incidentally, with a decent volume and a relatively flat sp, my immediate thought is a very large background buyer or seller. Anyone else thinking similar?

I could understand it hitting large ii stop losses, and also them selling because of no dividend. But sell at 40% down because you're not getting a 2% dividend???? My gut feel this will close by the end of this week around 90p

You may have meant the second part about the deferred 0.0055? May have too many zeroes there but too lazy to check. Ignore this, it's just saying they want to keep the nominal value at 0.0005 (no idea why) so it's meaningless and can be ignored.

For example you own 1100 shares at 0.2p, you will now own 100 shares at 2.2p No change in share value. We'll hover around 0.2/ 2.2p until the placing shares are sold Imo

Am I right that 0.18 should be the bottom here? Below this price people would be better off buying now than after consolidation, so I'm hoping this hovers no lower than that then takes off to nearer 4p new money

The main thing I note here is that with 69% held by the "group" and it being profitable already i think we're unlikely to see further dilution any time soon. Imo.

Looking through GIS financials, it all appears to be a very healthy business. High cashflow, low debt, low salaries, high growth in revenue. £248000 in salaries 2014 financial year, being 8 staff, but including the directors salaries and bonuses. Gunn seems to have opted for shares in lieu of pay and I can't see him dumping them for peanuts. The only 'problem' is the profit margin imo, but then I know nothing about this business/market.

Just throwing this out there as I have no idea, but are all the placed shares 'locked in' as DL appears to be? I know the two may not be related. But that would mean booom time if no sell off of placed shares at 2p and a 39% max free gloat wouldn't it?

Out of curiosity how many new investors had heard of GIS before today? I have, I'm sure they're quite a well known name, so I'd be very surprised if this doesn't get lots of write Ups over the weekend.

£26k trade. Was this a buy? Very nice if so.

Only 51m shares, what's the free float? I could see this easily hitting 15p by the vote as this deal is really good.

Thank you for your email about Alternative Energy Limited which has been passed to me by Richard Lascelles. Although you will appreciate that there is a limit as to the information which I can disclose, I would like to reassure you that the board is working hard in order to try and resolve the various issues affecting the Company in order to enable the company's shares to resume trading. The board did issue a statement on 30th March to alert the market to the difficulties it has been facing, which have not been helped by the collapse in price of the company's shares. We were forced to suspend the shares a week later when our Nomad, Beaumont Cornish, resigned, largely due to the financial situation of the Company, although we are in discussions with Beaumont Cornish as to the terms of their reappointment. Since that time we have also been in discussions with a number of parties in order to explore new ways forward for the Company and deal with the issues we currently face. We realise that time is short and we are hoping to be able to reach a successful conclusion by the end of the month - of course we are unable to make any speculative statements in the meantime. Once thing I can say is that the board and team of the Company are still in place and united in their determination to find a solution to the Company's problems and that the Company is still in discussions with potential customers for the sale of its products. Sorry I wasn't able to phone/email anyone today. I'll certainly have a go next week. Without knowing this business much, I don't want to ask them specific detailed technical questions, but I have 3 I'd like to know the answers to. 1. Is the reason for the suspension as listed in the Status Update RNS? 2. What is the BoD currently doing to resolve this situation 3. Given the material uncertainty, what is the reasonable likelihood of ALR actually relisting, ever. None of these require an RNS to be posted to answer me, so I expect an explanation.

Didn't get a call back, I'll ring again tomorrow and ask for an email address so you all can write. Might give Dr Eric a ring as well.
