Indeed I do try not to tempt fate. Well, some momentum seems to be here. Now Ask on HL upped to 33 and that has been paid as well for a reasonable sized trade too.

Same to sell on HL.

Ask now moved up to 32.5, which is what HL are now quoting for a buy.

A really solid impressive "grind up" IMO.

On the main platforms, no - there won't be much, if anything, in it.

Fingers crossed for you. A week - you should be fine (but who knows!). Assuming I get a bonus from work in March once we get into the new tax year depending on the price point then I will be looking to invest further in my ISA at a SP up to around 50p (on the basis my personal near-mid term target is £1 so can still double from there).

Alternatively I will just be sitting back and enjoying the fireworks and looking for another opportunity...

I feel as if I am just wishing September to fly by so we can get to that day when I take a peep at my emails around 7.30 to see if the RNS has landed and it is actually there..!

Famous last words but this is a welcome sea of expectant tranquility and relief in comparison to my other AIM investment at the moment (and that one is not in a good way).

It's 32 on the nose to buy on HL

NickyP - whilst you might be perfectly comfortable with an SP at 18 if you managed to buy in at say 8 -10 but as a newcomer to this share at an average of 24 (and yes still convinced by it long term) it still nonetheless makes it feel really uncomfortable viewing to see it heading in the wrong direction. Confident that it will turn with the H1 RNS though.

600T - Don't tempt fate on the 30p threshold.

This still has the potential to drift a little if the BOD take us right to the wire at the end of September with the FID/FDP, particularly if there is no other news to accompany it. It seems fairly secure for now though. The classic S3 (lower) support level is 30.43 which we appear to sit comfortably above at present.

The signals by most measures really look strong at the moment - and those cannot take into account impending developments.

Don't know 600T - it can't be long but I doubt this week. Just happy I topped up a final mere £1k @ 31 earlier into my ISA but am now maxed out in terms of contributions for this year.

I haven't done any this week but last week i was putting in dummy trades (for both sells and buys) just to try and see what was really going on and particularly early last week was regularly quoted well above the mid way point for a sell which would have shown as a buy.

So why don't the MMs move up the declared bid to 30 then - it baffles me...

A coordinated transfer between MMs perhaps? Would someone with Level 2 access be able to see who is holding what? A contrived pair of trades certainly - if that was left to trade on the open market it would have moved the SP without question.

@PV. When spreads don't make sense it is for a reason. That is always at the hands of the MMs.

Are we absolutely certain the large 775k trade was a buy? It was 30p on the nose in a 29/31 spread so it could have been either After all it wouldn't be like the MMs to manipulate how transactions are represented now would it? If it actually wasn't a buy and a sell instead then someone has sold shares to the MMs which means they have a much larger amount of shares on their books...

If correct, that in itself suggests they want to hold them ready for the next leg up which therefore could well be sooner rather than later...

Agreed. I see this as being payment in 2019 following publication of audited 2018 full year results. If they are wise and I believe the BOD will be in this they will not set out the per share payment on its own but the percentage of overall profits to be paid as dividend.

@Ophidian. Now at today's closing SP so will likely cross the line tomorrow? A chartist expert will now confirm what this foretells.

Re hypothesis - that Q2 RNS results in an SP of 35p NOT to the other part of your post. You should be more cautious about making statements like that.

We will know soon enough if the hypothesis is correct.

Out of interest I enquired of BMN about Q2 and have just received the following response from Chika Edeh:

Progress will be steady (with a few minor peaks along the way) but not spectacular IMHO until we get to first gas. Each piece of news should cement the grind up. I think many potential investors will only pile in and the SP climb rapidly once they see the gas flowing or just about to.

Just a thought about news that is due. Should we also be expecting confirmation of the Bacton purchase at some point soon? I am sure this was announced as an intention to buy it but it hasn't completed yet? Another part of the jigsaw.

on HL 30.5/32.5!!! Ridiculous. In reality 30.7 to sell, 31.65 to buy. Seems strange unless there is a big buy in the background nearer 32?

Suggests where the SP might open? Would be nice if so. Maybe just wishful thinking. Is the interest rate of LIBOR plus 9% normal in these circumstances? Seems pretty high to me. Again BOD seem very confident in the outcome. closes out skipper liabilities too. Onwards GLA
