A Statement from the CWU North East Division
As much as we rejoice in the CEO leaving there has to be others that follow, people were hired to smash our Union and others were used as his industrial Rottweilers revelling in the chaos they were causing. They have nigh on bankrupt RM with their incompetence driving shares down and mismanaging the industry throughout. RM could have introduced revisions last summer with agreement with the CWU but dogma and principle and the union smashing direction Rico and the board took wouldn’t allow them. Considering the financial crisis RM say they are in, we wonder if Rico will pay back some of his £6 million transfer fee from GLS.
If Rico was a football manager his backroom staff would go too, so hopefully there will be a few more to follow Rico’s resignation and we can build a new future for all our members.
When RM work with the CWU there is not a competitor that can get near us, we are the best, the public trust us, we deliver 6 days a week 52 weeks of the year. The CWU have never been afraid of change and we will roll up our sleeves and help jointly design a plan to ensure we protect our members future and we deliver a great service to the Great British Public.
