@JB There is something odd going on. Ofcom usually ask stakeholders and interested to comment prior to agreeing anything you are correct. Also Alok Sharma has agreed to the changes. This BS about keep postal workers safe is just that nobody is fooled we are run by liars and cheats who care not for postal workers or the the public that is clear following these changes to letter delivery. The changes are not necessary will not aid social distancing in delivery offices have not been discussed at all with the CWU and have just been foisted on employees. Time to foist something on the board they can get their boots on and start delivery but not before 9am

I have spent the last 4 weeks (on holiday this week FYI) carrying on attending at 5am and attempting (and failing) to adhere to 2m social distancing. Been doing my entire duty and at least half to 2/3rds of one of the lapsing duties. Working my backside off, running like an idiot to make sure it all goes out and not claimed a second of overtime. And for what? I felt I owed my customers something. Not the Royal Mail, the head honcho made it clear years ago they hated people like me. I'm done. Monday morning you just get the bare minimum. What a despicable company, I am honestly ashamed to wear this uniform any more. 21 years of service, seen so many changes. Six day week become 5 day week. Two deliveries become 1 delivery. USO become "when we can be arsed". And every time we end up providing a worse service. Screw this, I'm done. Sack me already, Rico you'll get yours on the next life.

@Duster clearly you are unaware of the legally binding agreement the CWU have with RM on redundancy Managing the Surplus Framework. And for the record Wolves no i wont be going i am staying put i am in for the long run and yeah it would be worth a hell of a lot of money to me but i have enough so i am good. If I had wanted to go i could have gone two years ago with a wedge

@200 all out it has to be then get them on the rack with the least loss of pay and maximum damage as we did in 2010 worked an absolute treat. And can you imagine the backlog during this period it would be immense bigger than any IA we have ever taken

@Red This is not the time for Royal Mail to be confrontational when postal workers are trying to get the public through this crisis in whatever way we can. All of this whilst those workers are scared because of the environments they are working in and scared that they could come into contact with someone who could give them and their families the virus. It is utterly shameful and disgusting that RM would attempt to implement their changes during this time. Any person with consideration for any worker at this time of crisis would see that. Now is not the time for major changes the CWU were prepared to wait for this fight RM clearly were not. It shows the respect that they have for their employees and for the public as well. they could not care less. Some one said earlier that if i aint happy with RM leave. No i never turned my back on a fight ever and never will. We got rid of Moya and by Christ we will get rid of Rico and this board, because you lot are completely impotent
