I am paraphrasing SH but I believe that interferon works best in the earlier stages, to help the body's natural immune system to kick in.

I agree. The body and tonal language (between the men in particular, I thought) was very interesting. There was an interesting mention of price, affordable price, at the end. Hmm. Not sure if this was deliberate or if I read more into that comment than I needed to. Also a comment about speed of trials - "sometimes companies feel they can do it faster on their own."

Hmmm. As they are still quoting data/results from July, don't expect any fireworks until we have more news from current trials.

Having said that - the more the upper echelons of power are aware of Synairgen, the better. As soon as positive results come out, we may see a rapid plethora of RNSs as govt after govt will want to access this treatment. Their fingers might already be on the button, ready to press 'order' ;-) Lol. One can hope.

Every now and again, I reassess my investment in SNG.

Then I remember:
a) £80m raised in the blink of an eye from II - not an easy feat. They would have done their due diligence and risk assessment.
b) inclusion in Activ 2 - selected out of hundreds
c) glowing Lancet review - repeated in Jan/Feb
d) science behind interferon and Ace-2
e) More scientific focus on therapeutics
f) more focus on interferons - and away from that unhelpful WHO report on intravenous interferon

There are a lot of unknowns; we can speculate (and argue!) about manufacturing capacity, unblinding due dates and RNS dates but these are the 'knowns'. Pretty good solid stuff, I reckon.

I know this sounds really petty of me, but part of me does hope that the results come through from France before UK.

The age-old rivalry between France and UK making BoJo, Hanc*** and Horby squirm will go someway towards mitigating their cronyism and sidelining and delaying the progress of SNG.

I think SP could retrace to 165 region today or tomorrow but don't rule out another SHORT-term drop.

As previous posters have said, longer-term, and scientifically, NOTHING fundamental has changed. This share is still very much a HOLD. Retracements/dips are actually good for the price and allow buying opportunities. If the SP movement bothers you (not directing at anyone in particular :-), can I suggest you don't keep looking at it? SP will always fluctuate.

When we get approved, and the SP shoots to the sky, I wonder if we will then get listed on the Nasdaq. Thinking if the priority/main market is there, maybe it’ll make better sense to have market exposure stateside as well

This table shows very clearly how SNG stands clear of any competitors on the Activ trial. Except for Camostat, other treatments have to be injected bringing to mind one of Fauci's recent interview describing the need to bring patients into hospital in order to keep them out as 'oxymoronic'!
