I completely agree, Stupmy. It comes across as so arrogant as well.
To begin with, I was only an investor, with a long term horizon.
Over time, I have taken a more hybrid approach to stock market stuff. More heavily weighted towards day, and in particular, swing trading now, in fact.
Guess which one is (by far) the more profitable strategy?
OK, the period is only around four years to date for said hybrid approach and of course, I might get bored of it one day. Being in a position where I can take that decision lightly.
But I know that I am not rare in achieving these kinds of improved returns with this strategy.
I am very much a novice compared to many others, with significantly lower returns, no doubt proportionate to their level.
I do get the impression however, that I probably do better than a significant majority of LTH investors. Certainly on these chat boards.
Everyone has different aims, different degrees of free time and appetite to play the markets. So absolutely to each their own way.
I consider them no better or worse - and certainly not mugs - for doing things in their fashion.
I am not sure why that comment has agitated me today, lol, but more importantly, I got another small fill here late in the day.
Still just a swing trade, but as long as this mug ends up locking in a profit from it, then nothing else will matter to me :) GLA.
