That rationale can be applied to the majority of stocks across the world though.

Which is why it will never be allowed to happen, assuming AI does become that capable, IMO.

It certainly continues to make rapid strides.

I have seen myself just how much work, across lots of different sectors, can now be completed by one person in a few minutes, with the use of AI. Where 8 or 9 years ago it would have involved half a dozen workers. This anecdote is one of many. I have a friend whose own experience would include tens of workers for similar today, and I am sure that this is not that uncommon.

You would be right to expect better risk management from the BOD, IMO.

But it is what it is, and I hope you and your fellow shareholders can make up these losses elsewhere.

Indeed. I have certainly not added to my small position since my last post, because if the insiders do not consider this to be good value in the 40's or 50's, then why should anyone else? Lol.

If I was a shareholder here, I would also rather it went pop than eat that deal, but fortunately I am not.

And I appreciate that if you are a large holder, then maybe something is still better than nothing. Although such holders may well be in the process of taking legal advice. Can only wish them well.

I have plenty of duds under my belt though, so not gloating, and hope that ordinary shareholders have not lost too much here.

Keep a note of the BOD, and see what their future career prospects involve. I have a barge-pole black book of sorts for this exact scenario.

I did deliberate on holding out for 350p or so, or leaving a few in the tank, but the profits were simply too tempting. Especially in this market.

It will remain on my radar, should I once again have the chance to rejoin you, but as always, if not, then GLA and I hope you make a pot full of readies.

Inside buying, when the window is open to do so, is the least the CEO here can do.

Not been impressed so far with the management of the company (mainly the inconsistency of approach to SP movements, nor a comment on the lack of a TR-1 at any point) but it was always a flutter based on nothing more than a liking for the chart at the time, so I am not holding them to the same standards as I would for a proper outfit.

It has historically made the SP quite volatile, and not always move in the direction that you might expect/as other PM miners do.

I personally like the small free float here, but it never stops the SP from crashing when something company-specific or sector-specific goes wrong. So I would not put too much weight into this factor.

I think the market remains unconvinced about them achieving cash flow positive status by the end of the year.

Based on the track record of the business since inception.

Even if they do, given how much of the business/future earnings they have essentially given away to the main shareholder, IMO it is also hard to put a potential value on the shares here, from the viewpoint of other shareholders/potential shareholders.

As I have suggested before, in my view, the only winners here are AOP.

With a normalised P/E ratio of 30.4 and a forward P/E of 18, I think your high level of institutional ownership is keeping the SP from having a decent red day today.

Solid results IMO, but on fundamentals, as I have said a few times previously, not cheap.

Still quite overvalued, to my mind, but the market disagrees and I am happy for holders that this is so. GLA.

Needs to break and hold above 287p-ish, on one of the channels that I can see...although as always, I welcome the thoughts of proper technicians, who may be able to verify or correct my read on said technicals.

Topping tail on gold meant I went underweight on my PM miners for the first time in years, just yesterday.

That gap fill I mentioned before I went on holiday filled, I see.

It was a pretty extraordinary RNS. I read it with some disbelief, not understanding how a company could have put itself in such a position. Given internal risk management parameters etc.

It will be fascinating to find out what precise activity/trade caused this mess. Assuming one day it comes to light.

I would sell into that kind of price action and move on.
