Yeah, IMO when you get senior people buying such small amounts, it is actually a red flag.

The MFI plan troubles me more, though.

It just feels really risky in this economic climate, when the current business has fundamentals that include a trailing P/E of 38, a forward P/E of 14, and a price to book of nearly 5. Price to sales is the only positive metric I can see, IMO.

Maybe this is one that I am going to miss a good opportunity in, but if my buy price hits, I will post at that time. GLA.

IMO, even 50p would see a 'mindful to accept' BOD reply right now.

As others have suggested previously, and which I reluctantly agree with, this is a zombie outfit now.

Unless they can win brand new business that they can generate strong profits from (and quickly), or significantly increase prices and thus profits, from remaining operations, then this is all about servicing existing heavy debt liabilities.

You can spin and crunch the numbers any way you wish (and plenty have since the last update), but if things really were as healthy as some seem inclined to suggest, then the SP would be nowhere near 30p right now, let alone sub 30p. Especially after the recent market rally.

How they managed to mess this type of business up so badly, is beyond me. Hey ho.

Anyway, time will tell. Just my thoughts and good luck to holders who feel differently.

Could be. Fairly low volume day though.

Could be traders joining the long side. Clear and confirmed break above the 50 DMA now; perhaps a small pull back tomorrow, then onto the next target of 350p-ish hopefully.

401.13p is currently the 200 DMA. A confirmed break above that, and the 2.38% disclosed shorts, if they remain in full here at that time, will start to feel squeezed I reckon.

Never been a holder here, but had a fairly good look at it today.

On fundamentals, at the current price, it looks to be at best fairly valued, perhaps even a little frothy, IMO.

But for a potential technical bounce, I have a price where I will take some for a punt.

Might never hit of course, in which case, GLA and I hope you make lots.

Nothing that I have seen, but from a TA perspective, we have broken out of a pretty long downward trend (one I mentioned a while back, where it ended up hitting the bottom of that range).

Hopefully we can continue the rise. I would be surprised if we managed to break above 70p or so without news, but not impossible of course.

And I think it is 29th May for the next update, so perhaps there is some confidence in the direction of travel here now, in the City. Certainly not merely PI buys in the past few weeks IMO.

Indeed. The OPTI drag on SBTX was one of the chief reasons why I exited the latter a few years ago.

For a very nice profit, although dwarfed in comparison to the loss I ate in the former, lol.

Anyway, my point is that SOH has dumped SBTX stock at fairly high, and very low prices, as historic RNS's will show.

I would certainly give no credit even for his timing of said sales. I am actually pretty confident that the record will show no great timing or feel on his part with regards to these.

Not that it matters (to a point) if you are confident in the non-SBTX products and IP value - and furthermore that you think wider shareholders are going to enjoy some realised value even if they do. GLA.

I really do not think it is anything as underhand as that.

Stocks of a similar ilk (DG and BME, for example IMO) are also both down at the time of print, while JD and similar are up.

I think it is a case of budget retailers being sold down, as markets (rightly or wrongly) are now showing signs of greater optimism and confidence in the economic outlook after the latest US/China news.

Same reason for why gold stocks are down right now. VIX down 12% to 19 at the time of print. And a few other indicators, that in my view support this thesis.

FWIW (which is not much, lol) and subject to the obvious caveats, I would likely be a buyer here again for another trade around the 84p level.

Not saying it is going to hit, or attempting to spread gloom etc, and you would imagine unlikely until ex div, if even then.

IMO it is simply a neutral RNS. A sentiment that the market seems to agree with.

Lest anyone forget, previous shareholders have been essentially wiped out with the most recent, extraordinarily dilutive fund raise.

Still presumably no sign of any income from...well, anywhere, apart from shareholder pockets, it seems.

Stalicla update? Any new external funding, or partnerships that brings capital to the business?

IMO. A break and hold above 55p-ish, will take us to 60p I think.
