I agree with your second sentence more generally, but in this particular case, I am strongly sympathetic to the shareholders, who had no reason to believe that the custodians of this company could possibly fail so catastrophically and so quickly, IMO.

I honestly cannot see how this came about, given the fundamental nature of this business, and given how risk management is so central to the entire working principles here!

Never a holder here, so no skin in the game. But genuinely fascinated - and genuinely sorry for said shareholders too.

And yet the SP continues to rise.

Not often that you see this, in such circumstances.

Usually you have to grind it out, often for weeks or even months, until the moment when the brakes finally come off.

On final results day? Almost certainly, I would imagine.

Given the macro picture, and the good run up that this name has had over the past month, holders should be prepared for a bit of a sell off potentially, unless the results are very strong, IMO.

Which, if it plays out, could be a good buy the dip opportunity, I am hoping.

Well, the only reason why I did not buy in the mid 30's was because I was on holiday, and had not expected the SP to drop that low...so did not have any buy orders that started with a 3!

And wanted a complete break from trading, so stayed logged off completely. A good exercise to undertake now and again IMO. Although best not to consider the opportunity cost, which those couple of weeks involved, lol.

But on a more serious note, IMO we retain the backing of key shareholders, with impressive inside holders as well. Including the recent respectable one.

We will get there - if they deliver. And if they do, people will start bidding up the price (probably excessively) as often seems to happen. GLA and hopefully the bull thesis comes good.

I do like an inside buy, and a CFO purchase is worth at least double that of other Director buys, IMO :) GLA.

I am more inclined to put the blame at the door of the BOD, rather than the FDA; the SP action suggests that I am not alone in this opinion.

Based on the cash runway length that the company gave after the last raise, this looks entirely like a repricing to accommodate another shake of the begging bowl IMO.

Namely a feeling that they are indeed going to have to do some more (capital intensive) work. Which may, or still may not, be enough to get approval. Otherwise, the existing cash runway should have been sufficient.

I really must avoid these types of black holes in future, lol. GLA anyway.

I do feel that I am allowed to have a few volleys at the BOD though, given they have cost me a few quid, and perhaps equally importantly, opportunity cost, having given them the time and the patience that they so clearly did not deserve.
