Well, with the latest news re US/China, I would agree that the upside - at the time of print - now looks the more likely break for silver.

And probably the wider markets.

I am watching the silver chart closely at the moment. IMO, it looks like a break to the upside (or downside!) is fairly imminent.

Gut feeling says downside, because of the macros, but that probably means a spike up is going to happen, lol. GLA.

Shame that SOH did not show such pride - and confidence - when the SP was south of 10p, not that long ago.

No inside buys at 8p or so, when the chance was there and the window to do so was open in 2023, for example.

Furthermore, it was not that long ago that he was more than happy to dilute shareholders. So I am not letting you get away with that comment either.

I have yet to see evidence that this is not a typical AIM lifestyle gig. Quite frankly. AIMO of course.

I have a couple of small buy orders in the region of the 50 DMA.

A retest would not be unexpected or unhealthy, IMO. Might even fill the gap below that.

But as I am new to this name, I am still trying to get a feel for it....so don't take my word for it.

I took a few this morning for a trade. Although my target exit price is for a partial gap fill, it might meet the technical definition of an investment, by the time it gets there :)

I agree with those who consider the update adequate.

I think the SP today will be led by market-wide sentiment, so it could be hard to know how much is company-specific.

Hopefully some strong inside buying in the days ahead, to underpin the confident words of the BOD.

It is a hold for me, but will likely add more if I see inside hands going into pockets... GLA.

I have been reflecting on my own (remaining) position here, on and off, throughout the day.

I decided to offload the remains of what I had.

Which was a fairly small position, but given it was in the investment pot, actually meant I deliberated quite hard over it!

The reasons were as touched upon by a few of you, but perhaps debt being the stand out factor for me personally. More than the two or three other valid concerns also voiced by a few people over the day.

In this environment, even if/when rates come down, I just think letting the debt pile increase, while increasing the dividend, was not the right commercial move.

I appreciate that many of you will strongly disagree with this sentiment. And that is fine too.

None of which means I think this is going bust, or any other radical volte face stuff, all too common on these chat boards.

This might change in future, and certainly it will remain on my radar for potential trades again immediately.

But if neither comes to pass again, then GLA and I hope you make a packet.

Brave. I have not added myself - even though the update should be solid IMO, and the chart is still pretty beaten down, so anything half decent tomorrow should see you in profit PDQ, I think.

And a nice little 3.7% dividend at the time of print to offer some reward for patience. GLA and hopefully the faith will be rewarded...

After all, nobody would have the incentive to do their job, without something meaty on top of a basic salary, pension and various other company perks, eh?

When failure is so well rewarded, it is a threat to the foundations of capitalism IMO. Hey ho. GLA.

You all know my (unchanged) thoughts on this company, and my opinions of the management/custodianship quality in particular...but I would have thought that you would surely wait for the final results, before taking a view on pushing for potential regime change, no?

It was June last year if memory serves correct, so presumably not long to wait now?

But no skin in this game, so simply my thoughts from the outside, having been surprised by some of the recent posts pertaining to such suggestions etc.

The only reason I bought in here was because of that monumental CEO inside buy.

Before that and the trading statement, I felt that the business was in trouble long term, simply because of developments outside of its control (not because of bad management etc).

Ultimately, that opinion is unchanged, but I really hope that it turns out to be a great long term hold for those of you here that are investors.

And also for the CEO, who quite frankly deserves a great outcome IMO, for putting so much money where his mouth is. If only more CEO's of listed entities followed suit.

My final planned exit point was 84p-ish, but I have closed out fully now.

Yep. The debt situation is, for me, the biggest let down, Wiscos.

And I would have kept the dividend flat, rather than increased it, for this reason alone, had I been in the hot seat.

It is not panic stations, by any means, but it is not an update that would encourage me to be a buyer in the 90's, to be honest. Just my thoughts. GLA.

If the SP remains above the 50 DMA today and tomorrow, then that will be a solid outcome, I think.

Above the 200 DMA would be a surprise to me. A big surprise, actually.

Meh. Profit is a profit, as another poster said last week (although I said I felt back then that they had perhaps left quite a bit on the table still).
