Corner shops much worse I reckon, but would be interesting to know for certain.

Although I saw a video fairly recently, where a thief got battered with a broom (I think it was) by the shop owners, somewhere in the US.

Not something that you would see in a Greggs, and presumably not something that typically happens with thieves in our corner shops.

That said, I seem to remember seeing on the news a year or so ago, something similar...and the local outcry was extraordinary.

Was it Peckham on the outskirts of London? Don't know. Might be wrong about the precise location. And the year in question.

Anyway, I really do question what values some communities have in our country, based on said outcry. Those city-wide riots in 2011 were arguably a far greater example of this fundamental lack of morality, self entitlement and cognitive dissonance.

But as I have said before, hopefully the Overton Window is starting to move back towards logic and reason. Something that will benefit everyone in the long run, including many of those who are currently part of the problem today.

None of my buy orders have hit today and not seeing any immediate day trade prospects, hence my shooting the breeze to no one in particular,albeit on a topic with some relevance to this name and her prospects :)

Well, something for down the line if all goes well, could be a buy out by a bigger player, of course.

An allied nation only, in all reality, but plenty of names that could fit that bill.

1.3 and 1.6 look like possible areas of resistance to my eye. A little around 1.8, and then quite a bit at 2p.

3.04% on shorttracker right now. It will be interesting to see if they increase, or reduce, into those results.

As I think I mentioned here before sometime, given the small number of shares in issue, on top of the small free float, IMO even a satisfactory update could create some issues for them, if they have not largely exited by then.

But of course, bear case arguments exist too, and that is fine. Fun to speculate though while we wait for actual stuff :) GLA.

i have got a couple of small buy orders in the pipes, will****s20. going to sit on my hands with this one, because it is indeed tempting just to add a few more here and there, but you do need to be careful with this type of minnow, at this stage of its journey, imo.

As to the poster trying to ramp CHF....the recent 0.50 placing for £130K, not to mention the history of that company, means I would not go back there personally, unless for a greater fool play, which I do not do.

If you can regularly find stocks that bag quickly after you first buy in, then fair play to you.

I can see the appeal of leaving a free carry (been there myself a few times in a few names), but generally I prefer to either trade, or long term hold, a position. For a few, I do both.

Anyway, well done on your free carry here. I am 20-odd% percent underwater at the time of print. Presumably about to see another 20% or so paper hit. Which is fine, for the reasons I have previously shared. Got my plans in place now and see where this goes... GLA.

You forgot to add that Director's are also in for £350K from the placing too.

I trimmed around 60p before this update, as I said I would, but still have plenty.

Pleasantly surprised that we did not get a red day here - I anticipated the chance to re-buy a few at 55p or so - not that I am complaining.

Depends how many holders that are still in significant profit here, are left to de-risk/exit IMO.

Presumably, those heavily underwater from the past have either already done so, or are staying put.

The most recent take over seems to have been a good commercial decision. Which has not affected the great dividend.

163 million shares or so, if memory serves correct. No need for a BB IMO.

Would be happy to see no further acquisitions for now though.
