I am glad that the new returns process is a pain :)

That is a crazy amount of stuff to buy IMO. Can you imagine how much it would cost the company to have taken back most of those items? It sounds like it would only be a mild inconvenience to return one or two items. A sensible amount of returns for a non-serial returner, again IMO.

Anyway, I took profits on one of my tranches. Leaving the rest to hopefully hit my original target price. Fingers crossed, some solid building blocks taking shape here. GLA.

IMO, the case for IM was already strong. With the latest politically-driven policies/activities, it is now further, and significantly enhanced, I think.

Not long to find out I guess.

In the meantime, I would be surprised if we do not get back above the 200 DMA this week without the need for any further news.

I am inclined to agree with those posters who have commented on the upfront cash making this LoI virtually as good as it being 'in the bag'.

Most LoI do not offer much in the way of up front money (quite often not a single penny, in fact), so while we are not talking 100% certain....I have taken another small amount this morning.

That means I have broken my 'rules' twice now with this name!

Another way to look at it is that it strengthens the prospect of Definitely-Yes being right.

Especially the fiduciary duty theory. I have no opinion in either direction on the other potential theory at this point.

It is also not a significant purchase either, so cannot see the reason for your excitement.

But I appreciate the stance I now hold in relation to this name is one that defaults to the negative. GLA.

It was a mixed report card, IMO. I expected a red day. I agree with those who think the pay rises were excessive.

However, I still think this is a good LTH, so will add a few more next week around this price once the dust has settled.

If we see a remarkable recovery in the SP before then, well, that will be fine with me too, although I expect a new lower trading range for a bit now. Maybe high 80's to high 90's?

If they can get it away at 50p a share, that would represent minimal dilution and one that I think most (all?) holders could live with.

Or sell more SBTX of course. Perhaps a combination of the two.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see how the SP fares over the next few days.

I have that skill as well. Whenever I post that I have bought shares in any given company, it should offer the shorters an excellent opportunity to make hay, because I almost always seem to jump the gun :)

It would be good if we could form a solid base soon, but I am prepared for this to drift down again during the likely radio silence in the next few weeks at least.

The RNS today gives me the impression that this is going to be the case, but I have long given up trying to figure out what the BOD are going to do here, so we will just have to wait for the next episode in this 'goes wrong' show.

I agree that info you shared probably should be put in an RNS, but that is not your fault or responsibility to manage. Watching with mild interest now to see if they do! GLA.

Thanks for sharing the link. Just finished watching it now. It was impressive, IMO. John did not come across as tired to me. He also did not show any signs of being flustered by some of the blunt questions by some of the more frustrated holders. Understandable frustration for LTH's, I fully appreciate that, but nevertheless, IMO, the company is looking like it is not only in capable hands, but also being led by someone who has no intention of failing. Sometimes you can see fear or uncertainty in the eyes of a CEO doing an interview. None of it here.

In fact, I am more bullish now than I was before, and I have already pinned my colours to the bullish mast on this previously.

Now it is simply a matter of sitting back and hopefully watching him justify this faith. The autumn is likely to be the time where we know, one way or the other I think. GLA.

I am a cynical fellow.

I can see a 'reduced' remuneration package and a wrap on the knuckles. Some fines and perhaps some NDA settlements. Some PR initiatives and 'lessons learned' stuff. Some new processes to 'improve the customer experience' and 'enhanced data privacy'. Then, within a few weeks or months, all will be forgotten.

Perhaps not by those who have been on the wrong end of this, but by the media and by the masses. Time will tell of course.

No doubt some very good results soon, which appear likely, based on a few posters comments, will accelerate this rehabilitation. Hey ho.

Yes and no. Namely, there seem to be no hard and fast rules on this. None that are policed, anyway.

FWIW, I felt that this was probably a FOMO retail buying frenzy. I am not so sure now. The sustained rise, on what is essentially no real new news for us LTH's, does seem to suggest that it may be something more interesting.

But IMO we will find out within the next couple of weeks at most, one way or the other. Either one or more TR-1's, or a fairly significant sell off perhaps.

As I said before, we have very few shares in issue. SOH owns, what 10% or so? On the likely assumption he has not sold any, and at least a few of us LTH's are also 'sticky hands', that really does not leave much of a free float.

It is nice to see my paper loss reduce quite considerably. I have 'made' considerably more the past week or so from diminishing losses here than all my 'successful' trades and top slices elsewhere. By quite some margin.

My opinion and expectations remain unchanged though. As does my desire to become a cheerleader for SOH and the company once again, as was the case several years ago. GLA.

Part of the reason why a CEO gets the big bucks is because they ultimately carry the can when something significant goes wrong.

I am tempted to buy a nominal amount of shares just to attend the next AGM, but I think my values do not align with this outfit at the present time, so I will not even do that.

But to each their own and hopefully none of you who are willing to let this slide ever fall foul of the de facto social credit system that seems to be creeping into our society.

Technically, a serious GDPR breach can result in a jail term.

Not sure that anyone of significant standing has experienced this punishment yet, but food for thought.

Whatever the truth of the matter in this case, it would be good if it does come to light and in full.

From an investor standpoint, I would not be tempted to buy here while so much seems to still be up in the air, but good luck to others who feel differently.

While it will now be extremely challenging to see the LTIP 's met, if a good FSS deal is struck, then they might yet be achievable.

Have a look at OPTI. No new news has been delivered over there (recent material was already on the radar of LTH's), but it is a typical example of what can happen with an AIM stock.

Anyway, if they expire, they can always issue new ones. I would be displeased if they did so at much lower strike prices, but will cross that bridge if it comes to it.

Then we have the (as far as I am concerned) shot to nothing IM matter...

IMO, if you have more buyers than sellers over a consistent period of time, then 'forces' are going to struggle to keep a SP down in any company for any real period of time.

If you have a company that has a poor track record of delivery over a period of several years, a BOD with insignificant skin in the game (still no recent inside buying I note, let alone the kind of sums that would make the market sit up and take notice), then you could conclude it is natural forces that is continuing to drop the SP. Nothing more, nothing less.

I personally would have given more time to this outfit if the BOD had bought big, like the CEO of MKA did for example. No idea if enough previous LTH's would have followed suit, but it would not have hurt anyway.

IMO, it would have also generated a lot of wider market interest and that of fresh investor money, but as it never happened, I guess we will never know.
