Yeah, the chart turned bearish not long after my last post here, lol.

Small position, so decided to keep it anyway, but have not really looked at it much recently, as have been busy with other stocks since the last post.

Probably going to continue sitting on my hands here until the next update. Or a market-wide sell off perhaps. Might add a few more if I think it gets overdone. If the next update suggests that things have got much worse (not expecting that, but nonetheless!) then I will simply take the loss and move on. GLA.

Rooting for you, esduk; financial freedom is what most of us here either have, or are working towards.

As long as you are not betting the house on it (or on any single stock, for that matter) - and please take that sentence in the well-meaning spirit that it is intended, which is not seeking to be condescending. Applicable to anyone on these chat boards too.

I have read of people that have experienced serious hardship and even ruin, when they have done so in the past.

These chat boards have quite a few examples that I have seen myself over the years and there will be plenty more I am unaware of.

Anyway, lets enjoy the positive momentum and hope that the cup and handle that a few of us mentioned a while ago, does indeed complete. GLA.

I do not disagree with that sentiment. In fact, I would be surprised if they were not good. Especially the forward guidance sentiment.

But will they be of sufficient calibre to make the current price appear cheap on fundamentals? Or avoid a sell the news day or two?

Nothing wrong with your strategy - we all do what we hope will yield the best returns for us.

ATB if I end up missing the boat on a return trip, but this has ended up providing me with a pleasing aggregate profit, plus some dividends, so happy to leave some on the table for the next man, if it comes to it. GLA.

I have been unloading my remaining position here over the past week.

Fully out now, but will be watching to see if a return is possible after the next update.

Not expecting a bad report card, but just wondering if it will be sufficiently strong to continue the upward momentum.

Anyway, my opinion has not changed regarding this name since my first post as a returning shareholder.

As my history shows, I have been in and out a few times. Still in with a few, but have taken a fair slug off the table. Something that I have been fully transparent about. Because why not use these platforms in the spirit to which they are intended?

I have some remaining sell orders in the pipes, so I may, or may not, still be here in some capacity by the next update.

At the time of print, I am relaxed either way about that, but a bird in hand, in this economic and political climate, is also appealing. But I will say if I am fully out by then. Something I have done a fair number of times. Sometimes great timing. Other times...quite the opposite, lol.

I think they will be OK to good, but these politicians are the biggest threat IMO.

Do you mind sharing the range (if not specifics) that you plan to exit around? Eg 50 DMA range or a different resistance point?

Simply because you appear to have made this purchase on technicals and I aspire to learn TA. Very much a work in progress for me, lol.

Equally, food technology will also continue to develop. So the current offerings from the likes of us and similar food outlets, will IMO probably get healthier without sacrificing the satisfaction that customers obviously feel right now.

Interesting. Just did a dummy buy and then a dummy sell. Got quoted the exact same price for both (67.28, since you asked, lol).

I have read other posters elsewhere in the past saying they had this experience, but first time I remember it happening to me.

Anyway, ex div tomorrow, but the chart suggests to me that the upside has more road to run, so I am sitting on my hands for now.

Will be interesting to see if we return to the channel tomorrow, or if it acts as support and we resume our break out journey in the weeks ahead. GLA.

If I understand correctly, those drugs are quite expensive though, and the results/customer behaviour usually reverts to what they were like beforehand, once stopped. And some experience side effects that render it unsuitable for continued use as well etc.

The greater risks IMO are further tax hikes and another small, but sustained uptick in inflation. And all that that brings with it.

They have overcome many challenges over a number of years. Might need a boardroom shake up, but lets see a couple more updates before focusing more seriously on that matter. GLA.

Look, you may well be proved right. Finding a nano cap stock that is not a fraud or a lifestyle outfit, is like finding an honest and intelligent politician. It does happen, but infrequently, lol.

And your agitation would be justified for a bunch of other AIM names right now, who have done exactly that to their shareholders for years and years and counting.

I have had a few of those, and even post on some of them still now and again.

And I will join you in this criticism, if the begging bowl comes around again without some material progress made before that point in time.

But for the time being, IMO this criticism is premature. GLA.

Notwithstanding the challenges of navigating the quasi-commie uniparty whims, IMO this business remains well suited to the deteriorating macro economic conditions we face.

They will need to stay vigilant and continue to work hard on cost controls. Likewise for being sharply focused on ensuring new and existing shops deliver. Closing them when things do not work out.

I feel there are some similarities here with DG across the Pond.

Not advice naturally and time will tell.

I am not going 'all in' here, but I am willing to build a medium-sized position potentially, in the weeks and months ahead.

True enough. At least it was not blamed on Covid, as so many outfits used, so long after it was a potentially credible excuse.

Nibbled a few more in the low 17's and got a couple of small buy orders for the low 16s now too.

Early action suggests to me that it wants to have a decent flush. IMO, a 20% haircut from yesterday's close would be too much, hence some very nice value if we see low 16s.

But even after that update, I do not think this is anything other than a blip that will be overcome. Hence not selling what I already had, and the reason for my buy this morning too.

Will probably need some patience of course, and might also recalculate my target exit price slightly to the downside, for risk management purposes. GLA.

Not a disaster though. Some inside buying (as I always say!) would be nice to see, in the days ahead.

Not a red line for me if this is absent, but it will influence the size of my further purchases. See where we are at the end of the week. GLA.

The break above the 50 DMA late yesterday was a pleasant surprise.

But will IMO be a short lived one, after that mediocre update.

A hold for me nevertheless, and will be a buyer if we see at least 10% shaved off the current SP in the days ahead. GLA.

Better not to introduce yourself as a shareholder IMO if you are seeking honest feedback from employees.

Speaking with, and asking questions, is a valuable exercise in itself (and something that I too have done a number of times in various outfits that I am, or have been, a shareholder in). But prefer in cognito myself.

All I know is that these 5% - 8% swings are providing some light trading entertainment for those partaking.

Might do a few more myself while the range holds. Profit is a profit.

But, subject to the obvious stuff, I am looking for a more meaty pay day with the current lot I hold here. And willing to give it some time to this end. GLA.

Did not expect to see the SP at these levels in 2025, to be honest. Happy to have been wrong.

But I see this as a gift horse, so have taken more off the table/from its mouth (without looking).

Underweight here now, so happy to rebuild my position if we get a correction after the dividend, and when the markets see some sense, lol. GLA.

It is an interesting scenario, and hopefully someone here is qualified to share their (professional?) thoughts on this topic.

Moral hazard risks, if nothing else, if such corporate activity could indeed lead to such a result, IMO.

Therefore, logic suggests it surely could not be that simple...
