I appreciate though that, for those whose average means this represents a 4% or so annual dividend right now, may not feel like it is particularly rewarding for the risk element of stock market equities, versus a high interest bank account or those high yield government bonds. But yes, we all have the choice to buy, sell or hold and ultimately that is the long and short of it.

Yep. Been there myself too. You have to remain dispassionate about it, rather than reflecting on 'lost' profits. Otherwise you might end up HODL'ing everything, come what may.

As I have said previously, as long as the dividend is safe, IMO we will see no boardroom changes here.

And in truth, I will suck it up and continue to collect the dividend in that scenario too.

If the next update is rubbish and the dividend gets cut or cancelled altogether, then I would not be so sure that the CEO will remain safe at that point.

I would rather the dividend remain unchanged though. Otherwise I will have to be less lazy with this one :)

Well, I am neither (although I would welcome the skills of a clairvoyant) - but I have pretty much achieved that scenario in a couple of stocks. Not even selling the top and buying the lowest points either.

There are certainly a few posters here who have done it even more successfully, so have to disagree with you.

FWIW, I have not achieved this here, but that is besides the point.

IMO silver at 26 USD (sustained, not a brief spike) would probably be enough to get us to 10 quid or so.

No chance of even 8 quid at the time of print IMO. BOD needs to show the turnaround plan is working. Cost cutting, revenue improvements etc. And if it is not, then hopefully Frasers will step in, or AP perhaps.

Not sure that AP would want Frasers to 'win' though, so who knows?

Perhaps another outfit might be palatable to all parties in such an event.

Always fun to speculate, while we wait to see what actually happens... GLA.

Low 350's to high 340's, perhaps. I do not think we would revisit the low 320's without a significant market sell off, or a negative company-specific update.

The free float, in real terms, is really quite small here. The SP has already been destroyed. We have seen recent inside buying from the big holders.

Not without risk, but IMO this company has a sum of all parts that is greater than the current SP. Let alone a lower SP.

Quite volatile right now, with a week high of 395 and a current low of 361. Expect more volatility in the weeks ahead IMO.

BoE tends to follow the Fed. GBP will get crushed tomorrow if AB shows any signs of dovishness IMO, so I am expecting very similar patter from him to that of JP.

Dry powder tomorrow? Maybe. Personally, I am going to watch early trading signs and take a view. A couple of potentially ambitious buy orders pre-market in a couple of names perhaps - but absolutely not going 'all in' tomorrow.

Keep back plenty of dry powder, is my view.

Well, I remember the market action in December, just before JP spoke.

Made some very nice profits in the following days after his unexpectedly dovish comments.

Few seemed to question why the U-turn about interest rates. Still seems to have passed by the MSM.

I set some (what I thought were ambitious) sell orders on a few stocks, and let the market do the rest.

Repurchased some of those since then.

Might add some more if we see further dips this afternoon. Rinse and repeat, as Mary says.

But will keep plenty of dry powder in case JP does to the market with his speech, what he did to it back in late 2018.
