I would be surprised if a few TR-1's did not hit later today/tomorrow. No way is this only PI selling pressure, to my mind.

I think the level of trust here is, entirely justifiably, broken. I do not think they can be trusted in any capacity now, including their cash runway projections, so I would actually be amazed if another raise was not required and fairly soon.

Perhaps the BOD might buy many millions of shares today each, to demonstrate a little of the faith in the company that they ask of shareholders...

I also remember you saying, back at the beginning of February I think it was, that if another leak had happened, you would be selling up.

I mean, the SP action was not quite so obviously dubious-looking as it did that last pre-raise time, but the update today, given the SP action over the past few weeks, is in some ways not entirely surprising either.

I anticipated a disappointing update based on the above, but not what we got, which IMO should fall under the watch of the regulatory authorities now.

Blaming a third party for inaccurate data...I am sorry, but that does not wash for me.

But to each their own opinion of course. And yes, I was a real investor here until today. Still have a rump holding to be dumped for a tax loss at some point. Just as entitled to air an opinion as those who somehow can find a positive in this latest car crash of an update.

The best time to listen to the doomsayers was when this was 50-odd pence. The next best time is probably now.

Of course, but the politics/horse trading that goes on behind the scenes really is quite something, so I would be surprised if the CEO did not get her own way in this instance.

And I think she knows how important the big dividend is to her own job security, given the capital depreciation that many/most/all of the big shareholders are currently sitting on here.

Of course, if she announces solid results, but a dividend cut at the same time, then that would make for interesting viewing!

They never seem embarrassed to face shareholders after the latest mistake. More front than Blackpool.

All the more reason for applying strong cost controls in good time. Which IMO the CEO has failed to do (unless the next update surprises to the upside, in which case it may all be a moot point).

IMO the last round of BOD remuneration would have been fitting for a high performer. One that had taken the company to new ATH's. But a high dividend, well covered or otherwise, is vital to the job security of the Dame IMO, so I expect this to take place regardless. We shall see.

I do not generally disagree with your points though, Pokerchips. Well, apart from your take on the performance of the CEO since she joined. Might just be one that we need to agree to disagree on, or return to down the line.

Genuine question: why would you put any faith in a single word the CEO, or any of the other directors here, might say in that presentation?

Have you attended any of the prior ones? I have, and IMO they would give a politician a run for their money.

And this latest 'error' was IMO the worst of the lot.

That does not mean a quick punt might not pay off, and good luck to those who decide to play with fire here, but I have genuine concerns over the actual integrity here now, so not one that I am willing to consider even in that category of money management. GLA (except the BOD).

Such a scenario should be impossible to believe. But, looking over the story here, sadly, it comes across as an entirely plausible idea. And we have seen similar appear to happen elsewhere in this space too. Totally and utterly uninvestable IMO, at least until we start to see the authorities get to grips with the all too frequent suspicious patterns of so many AIM outfits.

Yeah, this 'oversight' needs legal investigation. And serious consequences for the Board, should circumstances suggest it appropriate. This is not the first 'misstep' we have seen in this company either.

Such a typical AIM outfit. Even when one actually has a product, shareholders still get fleeced!

You raise some interesting points, Pokerchips, not least regarding the dividend cover.

I think the CEO needs to retain a sizeable dividend, in order to protect her position here, but I would not like to see this at the expense of fiscal prudence.

That said, I think she has been far too well remunerated to date, and wider company costs savings initiatives, tardy. Although the next update will either validate, or invalidate this opinion, to some extent.

I naturally hope for the latter.

To your point about the difficult investment and inflation period passing...that really might not be anytime soon. All the more reason for trimming the operational fat. Top down, IMO. GLA.

Well, whatever the rights or wrongs of it, for me, every time I see them increasing their position here, I feel the proposition is little by little de-risked.

And even in the hypothetical scenario that the shorts were in cahoots with MA (as some have suggested - not me - I have no idea) - then shorts are still not entirely safe, because outsiders might make a claim from nowhere.

Lots of M&A activity right now in this space. High short interest here. Something, at some point, is going to have to give. AIMO. GLA.

If an offer is forthcoming, I cannot see any reason why it should. Plenty of examples where the stock in question remains open to trade, all the way through to the conclusion of the process, often weeks, even months, down the line.

Agree. While it is not unreasonable to consider the prospect of a shareholder-friendly funding arrangement to be a credible scenario here, the ongoing radio silence and subsequent SP action (losing nearly 50% in three months), means that anyone adding at these prices right now is simply gambling that the above is going to happen, IMO.

Which is fine of course, but in this scenario, it is not investing, to my mind.

Like the rest of you, I also want this to happen; I have sufficient faith left in the BOD that I have not simply taken the loss here, but I have seen this play far too often, to keep on loading up either.

I ignored some of the abrasive posters who accused me of being some kind of Machiavellian de-ramper, looking to get in cheaper etc. Well, I was right. You can be long a share, without being a cult-like disciple to the bull case.

I do think we have something special, but we need the politics to go our way too.

Actually, the SP activity has made this one an excellent one for trading for a while now. Not to mention no stamp duty either.

But if one had just held, then indeed, frustrating. Like most stocks though really.

And any strategy works until it does not, of course. So eg my one here could easily come unstuck at some point. Such is life.

If the company plan is demonstrating positive progress by the March update, then hopefully LTH's will start to see some reward for their faith and investment (rather than just trading) approach.

Strong inside buying regardless is necessary IMO, like JD and others have seen.

In the meantime, I am going to try and continue to buy low and sell a bit higher in the run up to March.

I have seen other stocks have a 'final flush' before making a fairly strong, and sustained SP rise, without any particular news in either direction.

Naturally that is my hope here, but not an attempt to ramp either. Merely a small, anecdotal observation. GLA.

I was merely suggesting a possible scenario for the blatant (and successful) stop loss fishing that we saw today (and have seen many times here over the past few months).
