I prefer CARD by any metric that I can think of - but fair play to any who are making money in that one right now.

As long as people sell before the (logically highly likely, perhaps inevitable) correction, and thus take profits, well that is the name of the game.

Rationally, it is IMO clearly expensive compared to us; hopefully we will enjoy some price discovery here sooner or later, but the old saying comes to mind on that one! GLA.

I was surprised to see the rise to the early 50's so soon after the last update.

Yes, it does look like it was perhaps a fake out.

I had a buy order set for low 40's, which I felt might hit and provide a technical bounce to around 50p or so then.

So I was wrong and missed a little trade opportunity.

It is possible of course that this could be a new little range of 46p-52p ish. Have to see how it plays out in the next couple of weeks or sooner.

Am more focused on a few others right now, but this is still on my radar (albeit not a priority) for side pot trading.

PS: I still think the BOD are grossly overpaid (especially the CEO) for what they have presided over in the past couple of years, and those share options are a pi££ take :) GLA.

Yes, it seems so, based on early trading anyway. Pleasantly surprised to be honest. Thought we were looking at a minimum 15% red day, perhaps more, depending on market-wide conditions on the day.

Still early of course, but at the time of print, not too bad really. GLA.

Yeah, this one is far more attractive an investment than that one IMO. Chiefly due to their debt pile versus ours, with or without a dividend.

Not sure if they are as generous with the share options as our lot seems to be (my one gripe against CARD), but otherwise this one is IMO comfortably the better name.

Anyway, those who held off until results, should get the chance to buy cheaper than those of us who took the gamble yesterday.

Not a disaster IMO, although clearly a red day in store...so have set a couple of further small buy orders, and will let the market do as it wants today. Might not get a fill until next week. Might not get a fill at all of course. GLA.

I have retaken a small position myself. Unless the update tomorrow is a mess, then the current SP looks like it could be oversold IMO.

I would usually wait until results, when this close to D Day, but given the year low print today, it is a risk I have decided to take. If it was around the 150p level today, I would not have.

Anyway, GLA and hopefully those of us who took the plunge today will not look silly tomorrow :)

Good money for some in the green agenda scam. Still, a civilisation chooses to succeed or fail. Hopefully our one will step back before it is too late.

In the meantime, the DXY is the primary reason for a lot of our stocks getting hammered right now, IMO.

The USD/Yen situation could make things spicy for a while, although who knows? Might just be the start of a normal market correction. A market-wide drop of 4% or 5% would, if anything, be healthy.

More chance of finding a trustworthy politician than a rational market.

Although at least the latter provides opportunities to make some profits from time to time.

The former are a harmful burden on society that offer zero value for money. AIMO anyway.

A lack of inside buying is probably not helping sentiment.

Would have expected to have seen at least a couple by now. I mean, if those who know the business best do not see fit to put their hand in their pocket at these prices, then why would anyone else?

Personally getting tempted around this level, but without the above action, I am still sitting on my hands. Even without a show of confidence by the BOD, a trade might still be on the cards IMO.

Might not get the chance of course, but that is fine. Will post if I do, but good luck to longs if that day does not come and this turns out to be the bottom.

Yep, agree, although I am still working on my own consistency - especially when it comes to dumping losers.

It is not because I am afraid of taking losses, like retail typically are renowned for (I have plenty of experience in that field, so water off a ducks back, lol) but more because if I think fundamentals are strong, I tend to give more latitude. Which makes for bigger losses when one is wrong of course.

I also think gradually improving my technical analysis skills has made a material difference to the P&L, so to speak.

Nice little day trading opportunities recently, I agree. Got plenty of dry powder now, having sold a chunk of another position the other day. Had some nice success with another stock a while ago, trading 3/4/5% swings.

It soon adds up...when it works of course!

Well yeah, I agree. I think we are undervalued, but I am absolutely biased :)

Naturally, the next update will give us an indication of how the turnaround plan is going.

The last one was underwhelming, IMO, but I have faith in the management to get us back on track.

It is taking time, but that is not unexpected IMO.

Hopefully the faith will be rewarded, but I take nothing for granted and am not a perma-bull for any stock, ever.

Set my buy order just short of getting a fill. By an unbelievably small margin! Doh!

Serves me right for being a bit too greedy, but if we roll over again to that sub 82p level, or even thereabouts, will snaffle some for another trade.

This one has been pretty quiet for a little while now; earnings still a while away (August I think?) so time for some action prior to then perhaps.

Although we have the election looming too, so that might put a spanner in the works. Then again, meet the useless government, same as the other lot before them (in all probability). GLA.
