Yeah, it is late September, as far as I am aware. Assuming nothing unexpected that requires market notification, comes up before then.

I would be quite happy for a nice, boring on track update though. I have more than enough drama in a range of my other positions :)

All relative. I was expecting at least 20% personally. Does not change the fact the update was poor, but it looks like the market is willing to give the BOD more time here, IMO.

If they can get it right, no reason to think this cannot become a proper cash machine once again, to my mind.

Especially once they find a solution for the ambulance chasing, parasite legal stuff.

But enough questions and uncertainties exist at the time of print, which is why we can buy for around 46p right now, versus multiples of this number - if they turn the ship around. AIMO and time will tell. GLA.

At the risk of tempting fate...I was expecting to have to make a decision in the 30's today.

I am a mixture of relieved, but also disappointed (lol) at the time of print.

But equally, it is probably somewhat premature to call the bottom pre August update, just from the first 10 minutes of trading.

IMO, it does suggest that the market retains faith in the BOD and their capabilities to turn this around. Fingers crossed that they do. GLA.

Yeah. Not impressive. Need to see some big inside buying after the August update, but presumably they will not be able to do so before then. Meaning we are likely to get hammered in the coming days.

Keeping my fingers crossed that a couple of buy orders successfully cancel before the market opens.

Otherwise, thank goodness, I am very underweight here. Will naturally keep a watch for new potential trades, in case we shoot too far down....but this is absolutely disappointing news.

I am afraid I am going to have to disagree with you once again, Ashton.

I have in the past conducted plenty of research into the company. I also gave the BOD (many of whom are the same people as back then) ample support, and benefit of the doubt on a number of things. But especially on Dundas.

And for several years, not just a few weeks or months, as PI's are often inclined to do and lose patience with.

Quite frankly, talk is cheap and I do not care what the latest strategy/priority/focus is for Dundas. Proof in the pudding and all that. They have not earned credibility in the eyes of the market IMO, and that is self-inflicted.

IMO, the reason for this is because the BOD has delivered significant dilution and strategy chop and change for too long now. That is non-trivial and if that does not constitute a failure of management in your eyes, then I literally cannot think what will.

But that really is it from me now. I will leave you all to it. Heck, I might only post here again if you get materially and financially positive news.

Nice! On the fairly rare occasions that we both hold the same stock, he usually comes to a different target exit price to me.

Equally, if the time ever comes here where the BOD deliver for shareholders (I do not mean the odd spike in SP, but proper revenue generation, leading to profits and no further share dilution for ordinary shareholders) - I will post my congratulations.

Well, I feel that I need to reply to these new comments, in the circumstances.

Yes, it was a comment laced with frustration. And upon reflection, I understand why now.

It was in response to Ashton, who often seems to focus on, and comment in detail on, really trivial points that critics sometimes make. While seemingly ignoring the actual elephants in the room.

I can also see how for some that may give the impression of an agenda on my part.

So be it. I can confirm that I am not looking to buy in cheaper. I can also confirm that I am not short either, nor ever have been.

Which can be believed, or not. Like I said, bulls seem to have made up their minds, come what may.

At the time of print, only the bears/critics can provide comprehensive evidence to support a bear thesis here.

Of course, should asset sales be announced, with cold, hard cash to fund future corporate activities etc, then that would be something for the bull thesis. Subject to how much cash of course.

Let me clarify my point: with the name change completed, you will not as easily be able to access historic content. So, if you put the current ticker into the search engine here after that point in time, it will not come up with the new ticker automatically. It will give you no options. At least, that has been my experience with other names in similar circumstances that have changed names etc.

You can still find them via the google search engine though. More long-winded, but nevertheless. So OK, that is an assumption on my part. And now am curious to see when JAY changes name, if the same occurs in this instance. Anyway, I hope that clears that up.

All of which is really trifling and minor, by the by stuff, and of no consequence to the real issues at hand, of course.

What is the point? Everyone here has made up their minds in one direction or the other. Bulls seem to find no fault or failure in anything here.

While your post sounds like a corporate word spaghetti puff piece.

But with the name change, all of the historic chat posts will disappear, as will historic RNS's. People will still be able to find them of course, but not as easily.

Seen this play out elsewhere before, but cannot remember a scenario where it worked out well yet. Except for senior management perhaps.

Even if it is not, I presume you have read all the RNS's going back years, watched many of the historic investor videos by RM etc, same as LTH's and ex-LTH's have - but have come to a different conclusion to many others. Which is fine also.

Fair enough stokey. Rooting for you and the other PI's here. There will be no gloating from me if my scenario comes to pass, rather than one where shareholders are kept whole, or more or less so.

I think that is the only thing that we disagree on, as we both think those jobs, defence spending strategies etc, will remain intact.

CC: The only fact that you raise is that I lost money investing in this one.

It has been one of my learning losses. One that actually has perhaps saved me money from making similar mistakes elsewhere in the meantime in other AIM outfits.

So an expensive lesson in one sense, but not necessarily a futile one.

Do I want to be right about this one, and the others where I have lost money? Yes, to a point. Perfectly natural.

But I have lost money in enough stock market investments now (mostly on AIM, in truth) to be pretty dispassionate about it.

Which probably makes me a better investor and certainly a better trader. And able to spot red flags perhaps.

Take the emotion out and always try to look with fresh eyes etc. Easier said than done, whether bullish or bearish. But that is the key to the psychology of investing.

Meanwhile, if you simply focus on the RNS material since say 2017, the management changes and (more or less) the constants, the number of shares in issue since that time. Join various dots etc. How can anyone be bullish?

Not referring to those potentially seeking a quick trade, but actual LTH investors, as I once was here. Genuine opinion. Genuine question.

As to your final point. Say I am wrong. This becomes a revenue (and profit) generating outfit. No more dilution. Dividends even?

While I would be absolutely amazed if that were to happen...I would come on here and post my congratulations.

I have nothing but respect for you, stokey12. My previous rationale for being long here was that this was the right place, at the right time. It involved overlooking some historic stuff, among other things, in truth.

I think I may have used that exact phrase, but cannot remember for certain. Basically that a work-around would be found (and one that would essentially ignore/sweep under the carpet the moral hazard aspect) to the benefit of the company and the shareholders. When we were led to believe that 100% was essentially a fait accompli.

Then the Tories/Hunt/Treasury/whoever failed to sign this off, as I thought they would. And I was wrong of course.

Then we had a GE called and a new party in charge.

I can now only see the prospect of solutions that address those valid points that you raise....but at the expense of current shareholders.

Because how will Labour square the circle otherwise? Internal tribe ideology stuff and all the rest of it that involves some international difficulties potentially, too. Riverstone deadline is really not that far away now either.

I do hope you ask some pointed questions at the AGM, if they have not been answered by actions/conclusions before then.

None of which would exempt the BOD from missing this self-imposed deadline this week of course. An act that is disgraceful and absolutely shows a lack of respect for shareholders.

Unless you are simply playing the greater fool game, or rather, should I say, if you are a genuine investor with a long term horizon, then why should bearish posts and opinions rile you?

If you are confident in the value of an investment in X company, then if anything, surely bearish posts are good for you? They might allow you to buy more stock cheaply etc, rather than the sorrow of seeing your stock rise in value before you have had the chance to fully load up?

As to knowing/understanding the AIM market...one only needs the size of a postage stamp to write the necessary words of wisdom to that end :)

Totally agree, broomtree. Even just an after hours update about progress, or some acknowledgement that (yet another) self-imposed deadline had been missed, would at least be something.

The red uniparty are not going to bail out shareholders here, even if they do juggle things to preserve jobs in some fashion. I really cannot see it being otherwise.

And given the BOD failures, nor should they. Even though, with one exception (as far as PI's go) I do not want to see those still holding, lose money here. That is without even considering the moral hazard aspect, let alone the fundamentals of the principles of capitalism etc.

Not familiar with that name, but had a little look at the chart. Will put it on the watch list (because you have mentioned it and I respect your opinions) - but I think it might look more attractive with a pull back to 3.50 or so. For a trade - no idea as a potential investment.

And my chart reading skills are on a par with the capabilities of the average/majority of politicians, so not worth that much either, but just for fun, let's see if I call this one right :) Good weekend all.
